First off: No Spoilers in this thread.
But, if you have started thinking about Season 3 and want to share what you would like to see happen this is the place to do it.
Feel free to post "realistic" wishes (like: Keith gets back with Wallace's mom or Dick gets an STD) or off the wall daydreams (like: Wallace gets bitten by a radioactive spider and develops superpowers).
Dream away.

Especially if they focus in on a few main kids that end up going to college together. I'd like to see a few more examples of Veronica really stumbling badly and learning from the experience with her detective work. I find those really interesting. I like watching her learn from her dad - her dad learn from and work with her - etc. It would be fun to see her really examine the idea of "what do I want to do with my life" and think about detective-ing in that context. And it would fit with someone going to college. And the radioactive spider thing would be interesting. ;D

Probably more later, once I have my head on straight, but I'd like to see Dick's reaction to Cassidy's suicide and such.
I would hope that the Fitzpatricks' and the Mannings' storylines would be further developed and their introduction in season 2 would become kind of a set up.

I'd like to see a relationship grow between Keith and Logan. Logan needs a role model. He's been let down by most of the adults in his life, and I think he'd take a new step toward manhood if he overcame his rebellious attitude against authority figures. Keith is not a fan of Logan, so it would be interesting to see a grudging respect develop between the two loves in Veronica's life. Since it's inevitable that Veronica and Logan won't stay together forever, it would create some nice tension if Logan and Keith remained close even if he and Veronica broke up.

A realistic wish would be for Wallace to have a more direct involvement in Veronica's storylines, a la Season 1. He sort of went his own direction in Season 2...which, while probably healthy for the character, resulted in a "B" storyline that distracted from the main action.
Less realistic? I'd like to see an episode where Veronica investigates her way into a life-threatening jam, requiring the combined efforts of Keith, Logan and Wallace to help her out.
This would further deepen these three characters' understanding of one another...possibly creating the strangest extended family on television (aside from "Lost," I suppose).

Yes, I like having the core characters interact. (Great avatar, Rob. Sorry I missed it in person.)

I also really like the idea of Logan finding a positive role model in Keith. I'm thinking there'll be fall out from Thumper's death, which Logan unwittingly had a hand in. If so, he's gonna need all the loving support he can get. Plus, he and Keith want Veronica to be happy (a la Spike and Giles for Buffy) just as they differ on how best to achieve this.

Just to be contrary (since I started the thread), I'm going to say I don't have much of a wishlist.
For one thing if one has expectations then one is more open to disappointment if (when) the writers don't do what one hopes.
So I guess I'm content to see what Rob T. has planned for us and go along for the ride.
Or....maybe I'm just being lazy.

I'd personally still like to see Kendall Casablancas alot, at least in the first half of the season or so. I enjoy Carpenter's acting and feel like her character still has a little more story to explore.
Heh, I'd like to see more of Mac, mostly because I adore the character. Perhaps I'd even like to see her and Veronica end up being roomies later in college? I basically just want to see her as much as we see Wallace now.
As for Wallace, I agree with what was said above, I'd like to see him get closer to Veronica again, it really did feel like their story lines were pretty distant in season two, even from the start of it.
I'd like to see Duncan again, maybe not as a season regular, but definitely as a part of one of the arcs of the season.
Hah, and of course, Trina Echolls, I don't know what else they could do with her but I find her hilarious.

I'd love to see more of Mac, especially. Veronica needs a best gal pal. I'd also like to see Keith back together with Alicia.
