Oh. Wow. I think 5 minutes went by after the president ordered the Cylon into the airlock before I realized that my mouth was still open. Just. WOW! So, the Cylons plan is to lead them all to Kobol so that they can find Earth?

Well, I mean I was totally confused before too but now I am confused in a different way. Is Boomer-on-the-planet starting to believe her own game? Dissent among the Cylong ranks, too. Hmmmmmm. Lola

Very nice touch with Boomer on the ship going off for "proof" that she is not a Cylon. Another great scene with Baltar and Six - she taunting him about what Boomer would do if told she is a Cylon and Baltar desperately trying to change the results on the computer.
Of course, the star turns were Starbuck and the interrogation of the Cylon stowaway and the final appearance by the President.
I'm enjoying the continuity, in big and little ways. Starbuck is still limping, using a cane. Covered with goo as she continues to figure out the Cylon flyer. The President's deteriorating physical condition and the side affects of her treatment. The ongoing tension between the chief and ship!Boomer. The reminder that ship!Boomer saved Baltar from Caprica. The reminders that water is a precious and much enjoyed commodity.

Another great episode, but really disturbing. I'm suspecting EVERYONE now - I was half convinced Starbuck was going to find out she's a Cylon... and I'm nervous about how easily the cylon prisoner was able to fool with her mind. Plus, I didn't understand half the stuff he was telling her there at the end. I think it might have something to do with stuff from previous seasons...maybe.
and I'm going to be VERY ticked if Adama really is a cylon.
May I say, Laura rocks...

Lola good Lola! yes, all those little touches that make this show so very good. Every week, 48 minutes of barely blinking suspense. (not counting the commercials)

There was so much in this one, the review took much longer. I hacked it down substantially to keep it from being a book. I keep having to remind myself ya'll seen it too. Very good stuff. I don't think Adama is a Cylon. There are a lot of things I could see happening; but, that's one that I just don't see. I do now have DVDs of Episodes 1-9 and am working on a re-edit to put the last four in dvd format. It's been a busy weekend. I'm dying to see what they do through year's end. The tension and the weasling of Baltar into more treacherous territory is just great. They tell you a lot but you're always left wondering.

Another nice summary / review.
Agree with you that the opening scenes - the President's dream, the bit with Boomer and the "pet" cylon - are spooky. I'd even say they are a bit creepy.
I liked how Adama warned Starbuck about the Cylon manipulation and the serious way she listens to his advice. Wise advice, as we see.
Liked your "ouch" comment regarding Starbuck's "toasters" line. She understands Leo's weak point - reminders of his machine nature bother him. They don't fit the picture he's created. I am of two minds regarding the moment that Cylon!Leo attacks Starbuck. I lean mostly toward the idea that she is truly surprised by the attack. Yet there is a tiny nagging part of me that wondered if she set him up to do exactly that - as part of the torture and interrogation. I just don't know.
Likewise, I am also confused about what is really going on with Helo and Boomer on Caprica. What are the Cylons getting out of this? Like you, I feel it is a big experiment being run by the Cylons, but who is/are the lab rat(s)? Helo? Caprica!Cylon!Boomer? Both? All of them, including the observer Cylons?
The view of Leo inside the bucket, as he struggles and then . . . is just smiling. Very effective. The entire long sequence of interrogation, torture, questioning, back and forth verbal sparring, etc. was rather amazing in the way it made you question everything that anyone was saying. What does that mean? What about that? What is true and what is manipulation? Etc. etc. As you said, this is really the point of the whole episode:
Really really amazing episode, this one!
