I'm now leaning toward the same direction that Matthew took with the last of the final five. I think it's Baltar. Because I got a bit of a vibe that he was also sort of hearing the music but he's so used to weird things in his head so he didn't pay attention. Plus, he's halfway to crazy-land already. Also, he'd definitely be a person that D'anna would be shocked at seeing and would very likely then react with a "I'm so sorry". If the first 4 of the final 5 (presuming they really are cylons - like Rachael, I don't know if that's completely proven) are "special" cylons - some form of connection of the two paths of cylon and human - then maybe the final one of them is a "very special" cylon. Which could mean Baltar really is the cylon/human God. ;D

Which could mean Baltar really is the cylon/human God. ;D This is almost exactly what I'm thinking. Seven models, all with many duplicates. All loyal to the Cylons, once they're triggered (but able to evolve their own morality, obviously). With the possible exception of the late Boomer - not sure she was ever "loyal" to the Cylons, but she sure did go Cylon on us when she shot Adama. Four special models, who get triggered but don't go all Cylon immediately. They know, but they're still human anyway. Some purpose to them that doesn't involve immediately giving themselves away. And a very special model, who I'm guessing is one of two things: 1) The one who triggered the other four, and who has known what s/he was all along, and has been manipulating the entire war. or 2) Baltar. And it's entirely likely, in my mind, that the last Cylon is the "god" of the Cylons. We've (Dave and I, that is) thought all along that the Cylon god is real and physical, and not just a flowery hypothesis.
