Um, Chief, Callie? Perhaps not the best way to show your gratitude to the pilots and Adama for saving your asses!Yeah. Looks like next week he's gonna try to go back to the union activity he was doing on New Caprica. Which is not gonna work as well while on active service, which I assume they are back to being classified as. I was thinking this morning how the scenes between Callie and the Chief with their baby were so beautifully shot when they were on the planet - and full of love. The life onboard the ship must be horrible. Callie's fear that Nicky would be an orphan was highlighted by her saying - you know what happens to the children with no parents. Yikes! Can't imagine what happens to push to Chief to the edge next week.

Fire Serpent ad - yep, got the DVR set to grab that. On one of Sci-Fi's "all reptiles, all the time" days, it looks like. Well, if he's not a Cylon, then all the things she's saying are either: A) things she actually said at one point, like he's replaying conversations OR B) perhaps more interestingly, are things he thinks to himself, or hides from himself by mentally having them come from her. Laura and Bill, sittin' in a tree, K I S S I N G . . . nice flirting there, you guys. The idea of putting Lee in charge of the legal committee is interesting. Also interesting is the way she describes why choose him "need someone who actually knows the difference between right and wrong".So, of course we see Lee in a position of authority, chewing out the pilots. (**snicker** Helo moving away from the guy with the "weirdest rash" was funny). Apollo always looks like he's expecting to get yelled at everytime his dad walks up to him. Wonder if they'll ask Helo to defend Baltar for much the same reasons... Oooh, interesting. But I don't think he'd take it. Or I don't think he SHOULD take that job. He's "the guy who married a Cylon" so...being also "the guy who defended a Cylon collaborator" would be...I'm thinking not good.

I think what has me so exasperated is the...complete inability of many of these folks to have a healthy, normal relationship. With anyone.
I realize the healthy relationships are boring. I mean, you never hear about them because there's nothing to hear. "Yup, we're happy, we had a little fight over whose turn it was to wash dishes last week, but it's over now."
I guess the Chief and Callie ARE the closest thing to a healthy relationship. So of course we must hurt them to make them more interesting....

I didn't see the story as hurting Chief and Callie to make them interesting so much as giving the characters a wakeup call to realize how good they have it with each other. NOT like what they did to get Lee/Dee and Kara/Sam back together.

Can't imagine what happens to push to Chief to the edge next week. **nods a lot** They've been doing a very nice job with gradually showing us little glimses of the stresses of day to day life in the fleet. And showing us how the differences between civilian and military are building toward conflict again. Especially with the contrast between the living quarters of civilian refugees and the crew quarters. I mean, military personnel are used to differences in space based on rank, but they are also used to living as individual adults - not families.

Tigh saw the woman in Adama's bed, and made that comment. He really is, but you can see that it's all very wearing on both of them..trying to take care of a baby and keeping up with their duties. Not good at all. Whoa, so there really was a blonde there? I thought it was clever intercutting of memories. I mean, after the first thought I had of "who is Adama knocking boots with?". So, I was right the first time? And he really did have someone there? Oooooh, and it's not Roslin? I rewound it several times there and it is my and my buddy's belief that htere was no one in that bed but Adama and his memories. Vlad

Wait. Lee has a brother? Where is he? Probably already answered, but he is dead. He was a couple with Starbuck and she felt guilty about his death (He was a pilot as well and died flying) for some time. Vlad

I have tons of questions but will try not to be too annoying. I know, I know, there is some kind of catch-up video out there that jeff watched, but I don't have the patience for that. I would rather annoy you all with "well . . . who's that?" "How come so and so doesn't know about this and that?" But I will try to keep it to a minimum. Promise!! It's not annoying! Really! Glad to have one more in the fold! Vlad

Vlad I came to that conclusion, too, even after watching Tigh glance into the bedroom with the rumpled bedclothes. He must be used to how Adama spends his anniversary. Speaking of which - his quarters are VERY spacious -what with the separate bedroom and the huge bed. Was there something between Adama's ex and Tigh at one time? Because that's the impression I got from Adama's dreamex's comment - 'maybe I should have married him'. Strange episode that was better on the second watching of it.

Previouslies
Wow, going back far in the series
Love and marriage
Teaser
Flashback. A much younger Adama.
Happy Anniversary?
They have day care workers? Refugee civilians I guess.
"Fleet's quiet." A little too quiet?
Just another day.
Married him instead of you?
Good times, but more bad. You keep bringing me back.
Anniversary of their divorce? marriage? Anniversary of the attacks?
What is going on between Cally and Tyrol?
Cally wanted to settle down and Tyrol doesn't?
And now we have plot.
So it's like a life or death scavenger hunt? Fun!

Part I
Echo, echo.
Memory exercises.
So these are fantasy/dreams rather than flashbacks. Adama's getting the Baltar treatment.
OBE. Overcome By Events.
So there's no federal jurisdiction.
Oh, lack of legal knowledge.
Major flirting here.
Knowing the difference between right and wrong. Might be more Helo now than Lee. Except Roslin would never recommend Helo for a position like this.
Just Bill.
49 days since they last saw the Cylons.
Helo and ??. Snerk.
father son Adama strain.
Apollo puts on a front like Adama. Not a bad thing, you've gotta do this in the military.
Trying to reach out.
Narcho?
