"There must be some way out of here", said the joker to the thief "There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief Businessmen they drink my wine, plowman dig my earth, None of them along the line know what any of it is worth" "No need to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke, "There are many here among us who think that life is but a joke But you and I, we've been through that, and that is not our fate, So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late" All along the watchtower, princes kept the view, while all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl, two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl by Bob Dylan I didnt know Bob Dylan wrote that! I new Jimi Hendrix sang it, but didnt know Dylan wrote it.

It's an American show. Yep. American show. Jamie Bamber. James Callis.... The first season, the UK was about five to eight episodes ahead of us for a while: it's a joint venture between Sci-Fi and... Sky one? or one of the other networks. Havoc was downloading the episodes way early and reviewing them ahead of time.

Romo goes for a mistrial. Lee, Lee, Lee. You should have known this would happen the moment you told him about your dad! I would have used it too. And Adama, how dumb can you get? Telling one of the defense that you've already decided the guy is guilty? Romo pushes the right buttons with Lee. His sense of justice. Ooooh, we get a Lee rant! (Of course, they really shouldn't have let him testify, but that would mean we wouldn't get a most excellent speech by him.) And Lee cuts right to the problem with their case. They have him up on the wrong charges. Oh, this is most excellent! Lee is ripping off all the band-aids, no matter how much skin comes with!! The President issued a pardon for all, everyone else forgiven. And he actually lists them. Puts names right out there and what they did. Including himself. "I left everyone on that planet alone. I'm a coward. I'm the traitor." "We're not a civilization anymore. We're a gang." "Everyone forgiven but Baltar. You have to die because we don't like you very much." Case is built on emotion. Anger, vengence, shame. That's not justice. The prosecution is totally screwed and boy does that poor woman know it. She knew from the start that it was not gonna be as easy as Roslin thought, but damn!

Judge preps the crowd with a comment about "flawed justice" and how that separates the humans from machines. Getting one side or the other ready to hear something they don't want to hear. And they actually did it. Not guilty. Well, yeah. Not of the stuff you charged him with. Baltar attempts to go into full pompous mode and a riot ensues. Oh, Baltar, Baltar, Baltar. Lee and Romo hate you. They don't want to be buddies and help you figure out what to do with your life now! "How am I going to survive?" "Much as I hate to use a cat metaphor, I think you'll land on your feet." ;D Oh, excellent final bit between Romo and Lee. Romo was counting on you being an "honest man"; and then he lets you see how much of a con artist he was being, even to you. The cane was an excellent touch. Not guilty is not the same as innocent. Oh, Adama. You voted not guilty, didn't you? Yep. Roslin is not happy. But she should have known that, if she knows him at all. He and Lee are not that dissimilar. Look to the future. Yeah, good message for the season finale. They jump into . . . . bad space. Energy issues, like at the start, when he was shaving. I knew that was an omen!! Roslin affected too . . . all the ships floating . . . gonna hit each other?

I am worried all those that hear the music are cylons. I hope not but I am worried You were right to be worried. Interesting how Tigh was the one who took the lead in saying that it didn't matter. Of course, he'd go completely bonkers if he really stopped to think about it, so denial is the best course of action for him.

anyone else worried that Starbuck showing up with a Cylon fleet in tow is a bad thing? That the whole "I have been to earth, I will take us there" thing is *cough, cough, bullshit, cough*

Romo was counting on Lee being and honest man - NOT like his grandfather. And previously Romo had told Lee that he himself wanted to be like his grandfather. Then the bit with the glasses and the cane. Excellent! Good point! She should be thankful for that, too. Roslin's future isn't all that rosy. Good call! That was a surreal scene, with the ships all heading towards earth. Earth! An unpopulated Earth, I'm assuming. 2008! 2008? Seriously? I'm going to go into some serious withdrawal pains.

Does Baltar hear the music too? Ambiguous. Heh! Baltar nestled in a blanket and taken off to his "new life". Where apparently, he'll be as a god, looking at the folks who took him. Six is dreaming of the 5 figures . . . Chief, zoning and hearing the music. Tigh . . . "joker and the thief". Sam hears "so much confusion". They're hearing "All Along the Watchtower"? WTF? Assistant woman heas "I can't get no relief". Huh. So, are they hearing music from distant Earth? Or is this just all metaphorical and shit? They all meet up, drawn together. "A switch goes off, just like that." He's thinking of Boomer. They're all convinced they are cylons, and likely they are right. But special ones, yes? The Final Five are not just any cylons. I think they're special humans/special cylons. A link between the two species. And we haven't seen the last one yet. Baltar, maybe? Or Roslin? Or . . . ? The cylons attack and they can't jump yet, so they fight. "I'm a colonial officer! Whatever else I am, that's the man I want to be. My name is Saul Tigh and if I die today, that's the man I'll be." You go, guys!! They all go off to do what is needed. Not knowing if another switch will go off and they start doing other things they don't want to. Lee, you know you want to get out there in a fighter, so you suit up! Another ship out there, teasing him, it's one of theirs, it looks like. You know it's gonna be . . . YES!! Woot!! Starbuck! "It's really me. I've been to Earth, I know where it is, and I'm gonna take us there." Damn!! That was soooo good! And now we have to wait until 2008?! **weeps and bangs head on desk**

So now we've got four people who can hear the music, and Kara still unaccounted for. Which, obviously, makes five if you count her. And yet it almost seems too easy, doesn't it? Hmm... I think number 5 is still up for grabs.
