www.soulfulspike.com/staff/postables/blueribbon.gif [/img] Karen, my sweet! Since I missed out on last week, I am giving you two presents this week. I noticed that your wish list mentioned fellas you “haven’t kissed” and cottages by the sea, and also, recipes. So here’s a picture of you on a vacation adventure with a new fella for kissing, and some recipes for the picnic basket you’ll need for those romantic meals by the water.You’ll have to adjust the quantities for a cozy twosome.Love, Santa www.soulfulspike.com/membersavatars/lilpics/holidays/c87.gif[/img]Alan's Special Sandwich (It’s got red peppers!) 3 - red bell peppers 3 - tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 - teaspoon sugar 1/4 - cup dry white wine 1/3 - teaspoon salt 1/4 - teaspoon ground pepper 4 - ounces Genoa salami 4 - ounces Prosciutto 4 - ounces thin ham slices 4 - ounces Provolone cheese 4 - marinated mushrooms, sliced 8 – Fresh Italian bread slices Starting with the red bell pepper first, remove seeds and core. Now cut red bell peppers into 1-inch-wide strips. Then: • Heat a pan to medium temperature and when the pan is hot add oil and peppers. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Every 2 minutes, you want to toss the peppers. • Sprinkle peppers with the sugar and add the wine. Continue to cook, covered, an additional 5 minutes. You want the peppers are very tender and caramelized. Now add the salt and pepper. Allow peppers to cool for 15 minutes before adding to sandwich. • On your bread slices, add 1-ounce each of salami, prosciutto, ham, provolone, mushrooms, and peppers. Makes 4 sandwiches. Cucumber & Onion Salad (Simple, but sweet and tasty!) 2 - medium cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced 2 - medium red onions, thinly sliced 1/2 - teaspoon salt 1 - cup cold water 1 - cup sugar 1 - cup white vinegar In a glass bowl, you want to layer the cucumbers and onions. In another glass bowl, mix water, sugar and vinegar. Stir sugar until dissolved into the mixture. Pour over cucumbers and onions. Cover glass bowl and chill in refrigerator overnight. You need to do this recipe a day or two in advance. Makes 6 to 8 servings. www.soulfulspike.com/membersavatars/lilpics/holidays/c87.gif[/img]Dirt Cake (A favorite among the undead!) 1 – (32 ounce) package of Oreo cookies 1 – (8-ounce) package cream cheese 1 – cup powdered sugar 1 – stick butter 2 - small packages vanilla pudding (dry) 3 - 1/2 - cups milk 1 – 12 ounce container Cool Whip In a blender, grind Oreo cookies and set aside. In a bowl, cream the cream cheese, powdered sugar and butter. Set ingredients aside. In a large mixing bowl, mix vanilla pudding and milk. Next, fold in the Cool Whip. Finally, fold in the cream cheese mixture. In a container, place the Cool Whip mixture on the bottom. Add the cookies, then Cool Whip mixture, then cookies, and keeping alternating the layers. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Garnish with 24 Gummy Worms. Makes 8 Servings

But not to worry! After eating the absolutely delicious picnic lunch you've planned for us, I'm sure we'll both have enough energy to slather cool whip over our hot bodies kiss on the beach! And Spike has shanshued! Or maybe we found a dark and secluded cave for our rendevous. So many options in this delicious fantasy! Thank you so much my dear Secret Santa for this absolutely perfect gift!! {{Santa}}

Best. Present. Evah! ;D Thank you, thank you, thank you, Santa!!!!! (And am I the geekiest girl in the world? I actually checked out the sock sites before drooling over, and copying to my hard drive, the Spike Sock photos! ) The Lonely Socks site is sooooo fun! You can post a picture of your single sock and say where you last saw the matching one! ;D Lola Ahem. I'll be over in the thrall room closet for a while. James is having some . . . . trouble with his . . . . sock. I think it's . . . stuck, or something. Being the civic minded gal that I am, I figured I'd help, you know, get him it off. I'm a giver.

Dear Rachael,
This one is courtesy of Mrs. Clause, who says you haven't been nearly naughty enough this year. She also says to tell you that she's awfully sorry what she had to go through to get this picture.
I'm not sure what she means. She won't tell me anything...she won't stop grinning, either...
Santa
p.s. Have you got any cookies?

OOOooooooooooowwwwwwwwwww! Santa Baby, You are the best! And I know you are relieved to be able to hunt for Jamie photos after sorting thru all those Spike and Wesley and Sawyer pictures! Isn't he just the cutest thing! (And the best thing is that, like JM his first name is "James" so if I get, you know, like, carried away----hubby Jim never suspects a thing! www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/shhh.gif [/img] )

Dear Santa - What? Did you even SEE my avatar yesterday? Okay, fine, Mrs. Claus may have a point. At any rate, thank you thank you thank you for the lovely semi-nekkid AD photo. *sigh* And how very thoughtless of me not to leave some cookies for my favorite elf: As for the naughty - I'm working on it.

[/img] Dear Shan, I noticed in your wish list that you wanted something to make you laugh. So I found a short, amusing little fanfic story. Here’s a pic to set the mood:
And here’s the URL:

I hope you enjoy it! Love, hugs, and (completely platonic!!) kisses, yours very truly, Santa PS> Another special thanks to Mrs Claus. She just loves to put together pics!

yep Sue, you definitely deserve the naughty! LOL! I pondered that line for a loooooooooong time--but it was "going for the naughty" which tipped the scale in favor of including it! But--I could never fantasize about real person and I think he'd be suspicious if I said "ooo, Mike"!

Dearest Patti, You deserve flowers every day. But I'm afraid Minerva (Mrs. C) would get suspicious. And just imagine the VISA bill! So these will have to do for now: Love, Claus-y P.S. Clearly I'm still working on the "easy" stuff and saving the best for last.

Thank you very much, and give Minnie my best unless you think it's best not to mention it at all... love, your admirer too, Patti
