THE SOULFUL SPIKE SOCIETY LENDING LIBRARY
So...this is how it works. If you have copies of episodes, dvds, books - anything related to the Jossverse and want to share them with other S'cubies, create a post on this thread saying what you have and what you're willing to do with it.
Some people may have extras they want to give away, or they might be able to make copies of things for folk.
Other people may have things they will loan, but they want them back.
If you are the lender, you make the rules for how you want the thing to go. EXCEPT for the following...
1. Only Master S'cubies who are still actively posting may borrow from the library.
1. The Soulful Spike Society assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to materials loaned.
2. All materials remain the property of the lender UNLESS copies are being made or materials are being given away.
3. No profit can be made on ANYTHING being traded or sent. NOTHING can be sold.
4. The cost of mailing and copying is the responsiblity of the person requesting the material.
5. If you are interested in obtaining any of the materials listed either on loan or permanently, make those arrangements via IM or email.
6. To keep this thread readable and simple, POSTS REQUESTING MATERIALS WILL BE REMOVED. If it isn't listed, assume no one is offering it or inquire privately.

I have burned on a DVD: Chance 523 MB Andromeda: Into the Labyrinth 350 MB The Mountain 348 MB Various James Marsters footage from BtVS Season 6 Dead Things and Smashed 19.72 MB altogether. Any of these can be separated out. If the files burned total less than 700 MB, then I will burn it to a CD. More than that, I'll burn it to a DVD. These files are meant to be watched on a computer. If the files are burned to a DVD, you'll need a DVD player in your computer to watch them. (CD-ROMs don't read DVDs, at least not at my house. ) I also have a copy of Winding Roads on VHS, but as I understand it, it's already making the rounds. So, if I burn you DVD, send me a blank DVD. A CD, send me a blank CD. IM me to send me your address, I will send you mine, we'll mail the trade, and we'll be square. Oh...before I forget....some computers seem to be selective about the DVDs they read. If your computer only reads DVD+Rs please let me know. Can I pack any more info into this message? Heh.

I can pay for postage, etc. If you can wait until after Wednesday, I'll send you my video tape; it looks like we'll be getting reruns again until the start of May, so there'll be plenty of time for you to watch at your leisure.

I have a spare VHS tape of Reefer Madness - taped off Showtime - for anyone who wants to borrow it. If more than one, we can just pass it around, eh?
Very fun, very sexy, very insane and twisted! Kristen Bell is positively luminous - both when her character Mary Lane is being frighteningly wholesome and peppy and then later when, after a few puffs of the devil weed she morphs into a latex-wearing, whip-cracking sex fiend. Now I know her brief bit of singing at the Kareoke bar in that ep of Veronica Mars was no fluke!
Alan Cumming is at his smarmy best, Christian Campbell is terribly funny and the trio of Ana Gasteyer, Steven Weber and Amy Spanger are a hoot. As a story it's so over the top that they can't even see the top any more (which I was expecting, given the source material). As a musical, it's . . . a bit up and down. Some of the numbers are wonderful, though. In particular, "Listen to Jesus, Jimmy", "Down at the Ol' Five and Dime", "The Orgy" and "Tell 'Em the Truth" were just fab.
IM Lola if you would like to have me send you the copy.

I have the DVD set of the season of Miracles, for anyone who's interested. I send it to you and you post that you have it, and then keep it till someone else wants it.
Not thinking I'll watch it again, though I did enjoy it.
