Simon Callow as Dickens? Rose first step into the snow, like Armstrong's first step on the moonSo, the Doctor makes Rose change, but he doesn't? Rose is 19. Huh. Zombies chasing Rose *again*. A very nice observation, and echos the Doctor's comment about "footsteps in a history" from the very first episode in 1963. I think Rose's feelings about stepping into the past like this are very well-handled in the ep.

The way it was shot was similar to the way Neil Armstrong's first steps were shot. Yes!
