Well, 12 hours, 12 months, it's easy to make that kind of mistake. Eeeep! UFO right through it! The spaceship was a pretty cool special effect. I love Harriet Jones! (I don't love interruptions when I'm trying to watch my show! ) Pooh pooh on interruptions! Spaceship was very cool. I like Harriet very much too. Love your party avatar, btw.

This episode is actually funny. But, I'm getting a bit tired of the flatulence. I mean my goodness! Get the balance right for pete's sake. Yes. The episode vacillated between really good, interesting, funny, and extraordinarily childish bathroom humor. I'd had enough of the flatulence way before the writers had.

Well, "they're already here" IS the big theme of the latest alien invasion stories. I dunno. Enjoyed the half without fart jokes, rolled my eyes through the jokes, considered the fact that aliens will be identifiable, at least in part, because they've had to take over larger people...and need to see the next part to know what really to think. The whole "Companion = Potential Sex Partner" thing is much more overt than it used to be, eh? I mean...they used to mostly be sort of daughter figures, more than anything else. Must say, so far I prefer it this way. The only thing Doctor Who ever lacked for was sex...even if it's only imaginary sex.

Of course, we're not the only audience. Small children love it. This story seems to have been pitched more in their direction. Unlike the next one (episode 6).

Yeah- it's very off-putting. LOL! But, "very human". ;D Maybe too human.

Heeee. ;D Well, it's a kid's show so it's gonna have a kid-pleasing sense of humor. Get the balance right, indeed! *smiles* There is a balance to be had, but they seem to have done it by writing episodes that are childish with adult elements and episodes (as we will see later on) that are more adult with some childish elements.

That's a very good assessment. While there are some great moments in these two eps, I'm not that fond of them. Role on the second half of the season!

I think it's handled well as the season develops.

The Doctor's not so good with measuring time, is he?
"Big Bad Wolf"
In the olden days it wasn't unusual for the wealthy to employ a traveling companion. Nothing kinky about it. Nowadays, must be sexual?
The Doctor is 900 years old.
Hey, water landing like in Star Trek IV.
Does the TARDIS have a mind of it's own? For landing in the right place at the right time, whether the Doctor knows it or not?
Hey, Harriet Jones was in Albert and Victoria.
Aliens are faking aliens. Interesting.
So what happens when the TARDIS materializes in a place without enough clearance?
The Doctor sees the big picture, but is fuzzy on the details.
Aliens thriving on gas in the last episode, Aliens passing gas in this episode.
Yawn. Sorry.
