Here they come! “The Evil of the Daleks”, a Second Doctor adventure, is generally considered to be the finest fully-canonical Dalek story. However, like many adventures of the First and Second Doctors, it has been lost. Only the audio track and one episode remain. So, the story is being re-created live on stage this October! It features Nick Scovell and John Paul McCrohon, who have played the Doctor and Jamie in the dramatisation of two other lost adventures, and Rosie Grant as Victoria (this story was Vicky’s introduction as a companion). The charming Nicholas Briggs, who voices the Daleks on the new TV series and writes and directs all the Dalek audio stories (and the BBC’s recent CD “history” of the Daleks – The Dalek Conquests), will be on hand with his trusty ring modulator to provide the Dalek voices, including that of the Emperor. The Daleks themselves have been specially designed to reflect both the classic and new series' designs, intended to be a hybrid of the two. Similarly, the adaptation has been written with the new series in mind: faster pace and a greater concentration on character. Again, the idea is to create a mixture of the classic and new series. The music promises to be good. Click on this link to download the version of the DW theme that will be used: For a Darkened PeopleI have two tickets for the last performance. There’s a mini Dalek convention that day. It’s right on the south coast, but who cares? Note: the RSG knows. It just said, "Beware the Gallifreyan Spider!"

This doesn't really qualify as news, but I thought it would be fun to share. SourceDavid Tennant 'enjoys steamy sex as Doctor Who''Doctor Who' star David Tennant has confessed that he dresses up as the Time Lord for steamy sex sessions with his girlfriend. The actor revealed that his actress lover Sophia Myles loves it when he puts on his Doctor costumes in the bedroom. David told BBC DJ Chris Moyles: "I don't want to give away all my bedtime secrets. All I'm saying is Sophia likes it when I'm dressed up as The Doctor!" David and pretty blonde Sophia, 27, met a year ago after filming an episode of the hit sci-fi series together. Since appearing in the iconic show, 35-year-old David has earned himself sex-symbol status and was voted the sexiest Doctor Who ever by readers of gay online newspaper The Pink Paper and has just been voted the coolest TV star by audiences. It was recently reported that the actor has agreed to continue in his 'Doctor Who' role for the entire fourth series.
