Thank you, Doctor, for the shiny new part!
I really loved how this episode resolved last week's introductory stuff...it such a heartbreaking and real way. Mickey's choice, Pete's reaction, Jackie's fate. One thing I especially liked was the reveal of who "Gemini" was; it really underscores the duality, not only of his actions, but in Rose's life.
More later...

Humans just want someone to take control. To have an easy life. He's got us down, all right. Anymore would violate rules.

Wait, the sonic screwdriver can do *that*? Oh, it's a revitalizing loop. OK.
Scooby-Doo and a van. Hee.
I'm London's most wanted for parking tickets. Hee.
Humans must be upgraded so they don't feel any pain.

History of the Cybermen.
Was that Mickey or Rickey?
So a fence is enough to stop the Cybermen.

So Ricky was the one who got nabbed.
You're nothing. Something Mickey believes all too well.
Factory of Doom!!!!
You're just making this up as you go along! Yup, but I do it brilliantly.
Ah, the fake earpod trick.
Tin Dog again.
hot dogs: the cyberman of food.

Mrs. Moore. From what book?
Is it really Jackie?
EMP takes out the cybermen.
Aw, it was their wedding night. Sniff.
Self realization.

Clever, clever Mickey.
On 7 continents? So there's one for all those people who live in the Antarctic as well?
That's not the definition of redundant.
I'd call you a genius except I'm in the running. Hee.
That's so human.
Being proud of emotions.
Feeding information to Mickey. hee.
Making technology compatible with everything else as a downfall. I hate to think what that says about me.
Of course that is the same issue in Battlestar Galactica.
Ooh, Explosions! Pretty!

Mickey's found his purpose.
It's just you and him, isn't it.
The Doctor's found respect for Mickey.
Can the Tardis really fit in the apartment?
So people are going to be mistakenly calling Mickey "Ricky" for real for the rest of his life.
Let's go liberate Paris.

Cybermen have no souls. Funny how that affects them. Especially their return. Oh my. That had to HURT!!! I found myself really distressed at the plan to shut down all of the emotional control. It was truly a horrible thing to do to all of those people whose brains would now remember with fear and horror being turned into Cybermen. Maybe there wasn't any other choice, but...I can't help but feel that there must have been some option that wouldn't be so cruel.

Not funny ha ha, but funny as in so much like how having a soul returned affected Angel and Spike, but more so Angel. Sad, yes, but it didn't appear there was another viable solution at the time, with so little time to act before being "upgraded" themselves.
