I Loved this issue. Especially the bit about the woman Robin. What a guy Joss is.

First, I'd totally forgotten the contest to be in a comic. Reading this and seeing how Robin was written into the story? So wonderful! I loved that they also had Robin be a "chosen one", but also that they gave her a respite. Some time off, before she's assigned elsewhere. But I also loved all the little touches in this "stand alone" ep/issue. Like the title and opening moments, re-using the anywhere but here game. I kept thinking, "Amy Yip at the waterslide park." As with any of the stand alone eps, of course, this actually has lots of continuity and links to future developments, I'm guessing. I mean, yes, we only get a few mentions that link back to the recent Faith storyline, but we also got a lot of juicy hints at what happened with Willow, some nice mirroring with Dawn's backstory, what will happen with Buffy in the future, etc. etc. Plus, Xander in the frilly, which was very fun. ;D

The Minder-Robin part was really, really great. It could have been a cheap gimmick competition, but then a real writer got hold of it. Art-alchemy.
The most interesting bit of continuity is the Slayers in a swiss bank. Above the law?
And did we hear before Giles was not talking to Buffy? Because if anyone knows about misuse of power...
I like how cheerful Buffy is when she's all "oh, look, here's a you bad thing" plus "Wow. your bad is way better than mine." classic expression.
And the letter column is back to the whole why art matters thing.
awesome issue.
