As I understand it, tonight's episode is Juliet-centric.

I like Juliet's hair. OK. That was kind of a shallow opening comment, wasn't it? Therapist? Celebrity? Oh, this is back when she first got to the island and they were all "wow the baby doctor is here". Cryin' about your daddy. Heh! 'Cuz, yeah, this is the island of daddy issues. Ah, they're still in the honeymoon stage. Just here for 6 months. Yeah. Right. Charlotte and Daniel are mysteriously gone. Wow. What a surprise. And, yeah, you told folks that they were good guys, Jack. Woopsie. The sudden rain and mysterious whispering and then . . . apparition/ghost? Or has she just been with the rest of the Others in the jungle, at the temple thing?

Oooooh. Come to tell her they're going to use the gas. And Ben wants Juliette to kill them. 'Cuz Ben is right where he wants to be (again). Yep. That's just a bit creepy. Flashback again. Juliette crying and taking care of what's his name. Oh, lost another patient. "I was brought here to fix that." "If you don't tell your wife about what I said, I won't tell anyone you lied about how you hurt your arm." So, we learn that even then she was clever about figuring stuff out. Heading toward "the tempest". The electrical power station. Hmmmm. Yeah. And the deadly gas station, too. "What if I can't do it?" "I know you can do this." Are they talking about sending gas to kill everyone, or about something else and we're just being led to think that? It's OK, it's Kate. So, they're alright with Kate finding them? That doesn't quite fit with a "kill them all" scenario.

Oh, yeah. Locke and co are treating Miles just fine. Feeding him lots of grenades. You gotta realize the folks on the island are not gonna just believe you about stuff. And whacking them on the back of the head probably won't help. "It's very stressful being an Other." I vote that best line of the ep!! Hmmmm. Immune system turns on the fetus. Ooh, and now she's getting all buddy buddy with the therapist's hubby. Ben. Great. Smart. Intense. Challenging. Oh, and don't forget manipulative and insane. Oooooooh! It's One Island Life to Live! Affairs, triangles, intrigue, therapy, and innapropriate worship of Benry! Claire's turn to try and stand up to Locke. Killed one, shot one, holding one prisoner, maybe we're taking the wrong approach. Yeah. Maybe you are. And she (finally) makes the good points. Like, all Charlie said was it wasn't the boat they thought, but what boat was it, yadda yadda. ;D Why oh why does he continue to listen to Benry? I mean, he knows he manipulates. So why? And why doesn't he listen to the important stuff, like asking if the rabbit had a number. Bringing up the 3.2 million. Common enemy that is the guy running the boat people. "I'll have to show you." I don't think I'd really want to see most of what Benry would have to show me.

Island romance. Oh, come on people! You could at least reenact the whole "from here to eternity" vibe. Ben wouldn't like the affair and has a crush on her? Ewwwwwwwwwwww!! Chemicals that could kill every man woman and child on the island. Oh, you mean like the ones that already did just that!? And now we're back up to the crash time. Jack and Juliet, runnin' thru the jungle with guns and finding Kate. Damn! It's a real "action ep", isn't it? Juliette didn't go for water, Jack. No, she went off a huntin' her some helicopter folk, I think. Oh, don't believe the "poor me" Benry story, Locke! "I taped over the game." Aha! Charles Whidmore! Yes, we knew it! And yes, like I thought, he's been trying to find the island. (Well, if we can believe Benry.) "If 5000 people came out to see a piece of mold" Heeeeee! Yeah, they should all probably have been telling each other more stuff earlier. This is not a problem just with you, Benry. It's one of the island diseases, like daddy-issues, gettin' violent, and intermittent stupidity. Man on the boat!! I'm thinking it's Michael! And maybe Walt too!

The List again - Benry makes it sound like it's not his list - maybe he means it's Jacob's list???
And where are all the Others, including the kiddies, in the present?
Benry is almost cute trying to romance Juliet. Almost.

Kate and Jack just talking honestly to each other? Whoa! What's up with that? ;D Juliet at the tempest, foolishly leaving her bag at the door. Heee! Goofy Benry, all (apparently) lovestruck and eager. ;D Kids asking her about their "mother in LA"? Damn. Mention of "the list" again. And now they "know all about the people in the tail section", and how this is an "undercover assignment". Hmmmm. Is he trying to release the gas, or stop it from being released?

The List again - Benry makes it sound like it's not his list - maybe he means it's Jacob's list???Good point! "Who are we to question who is on the list" sounds like a very Jacob-like thing, doesn't it? Yes! I assume they are all at the temple thingee that the rest of the Others were heading toward, but we haven't seen the kids in quite a while.
Almost. In a slightly cute, sweaty little rat kind of way.

Trying to render it inert. Hmmmm. So that the rest of their people can land on the island safely, I'm betting.
Look me in the eye and tell me you don't believe Benjamin Linus won't use this gas to kill everyone on the island. He's done it before.
Yep. Disabling it. But that still doesn't make them totally good people. Or at least, doesn't make them people without ulterior motives.
Flashback . . . learning about Jack being a surgeon. Ah, brings her to what's his name's body. Bet she doesn't know some of the things he did to the tail-ees.
Why did you show me this? Yep. To manipulate you and hurt you, Juliette. After everything I did to get you here and keep you here. You're mine.
Ah. This is part of the whole "you look like her" thing. His ex?
It's alright, they're on our side. Um. That might be a bit of a stretch. "We just saved your life." Well, why the hell not tell people about these things beforehand! Sometimes I want to strangle all these people!
They came here to wage war against Ben. Ben's going to win.
Oh, wow! So now we've got a true love quadrangle. Aaaaaand we cut to Sawyer and Hurley. Classic!
**snicker**
Benry wandering about, getting fresh bed linens and smirking that smirk.

Was I in the kitchen when Locke decided to release Benry? Why is Benry out in the open, acting all chummy and ordinary one-of-the-guys?
I wasn't very interested in this episode; mostly because I find Juliet a rather repellent individual; don't ask me why. In a way, she reminds me of Benry, only not psycho and much prettier.

Teaser
Ooh, Juliet's got a Zen garden.
Harper Stanhope. What a mouthful.
Therapy. That makes sense. In fact, I think Jack could use some.
Juliet doesn't like being the center of attention. Because it makes her feel isolated. [Ooh! files away in ICE notes]
Mr. Friendly! With a caterpillar on his face! This is a flashback. Dammit, I fell for it.
Snoockering her with material comforts.
Want you to feel at home. Cut to Juliet on the beach. Cool cut.
Charlotte and Daniel took off. Hmm...
Too bad Kate's not around with her mad tracking skillz.
And it starts raining. Naturally.
Voices again.
Harper appears out of nowhere. So she died at some point? ETA: Or she's just projecting like Walt.

Part I
A message from Ben. So, wait. Huh?
The tempest. Which has poison gas.
Juliet crying. So this is after Ben won't let her leave the island?
Goodwin!
Henrietta died.
OK, so she's crying because she was unable to save her patients.
Harper is married to Goodwin.
Chemical burn?
The Tempest is an electrical station that powers the island.
So I guess Jack and Juliet didn't catch up to Charlotte and Daniel.
Kate! Where the hell did she come from?

Part II Yeah, Locke is treating Milo fine. If by fine you mean making him fetch grenades. I really like Kate in this scene. What is Charlotte's deal? It's very stressful being an Other, Jack. You don't say! ;D What's in Juliet's file? Interesting way that Ben is looking at Juliet in this scene. Mother or Lover? Ahhh, problem the pregnancies is an immune system one. Jealousy between Ben and Goodwin? Juliet "looks just like her." i.e. Ben's mom.* Harper is one screwed up chick. So Juliet and Goodwin were in fact sleeping together. So, yep. Jealousy. Go Claire. Way to be proactive. But I fear for her all of a sudden, talking to Locke like this. It's not hard to understand why they might be hostile. Go Claire! Dammit, my cursor key fell off. All Charlie said was whose boat it isn't. Yay! again. Ben reads Philip K. Dick. Can't make out the title. Feeding Ben rabbit. But what if it's Ben's pet rabbit? Ew. And Ben wonders about that too! LOL. I wouldn't be surprised if Ben can freely enter and leave this cell. Secret passageway, magical transporter... The Revolution. You know, Ben wouldn't be so good at what he does if other people weren't so fucked up. I always have a plan. I believe you, Ben. The one the Boat People work for. I'll bet it's Widmore. Yeah, I'm surprised that Ben thinks that anyone would trust him at this point. Show him? *I must take a moment to over this for completely Band related in-joke reasons. Ahem. OK, I'm done now.

Part III
Ah, adulterous bliss.
It's been a year since the affair began.
Ben's crush on Juliet. So that should give Juliet a great deal of power over Ben. I need to watch all of their scenes over again.
Goodwin is working in a chemical lab. But for what purpose?
The last thing [Ben] cares about is [Juliet and Goodwin]. That would be Ben's cue to come rampaging out of the woods at them.
What's Ben going to do. Why, send Goodwin to certain death, of course!
Yep, this scene again.
Damn, they did a number on Kate.
So Kate was just on her way back to the beach.
Now Juliet's disappeared.
I wonder if the island's like Earth 2, where you can pop in and out of the ground.
A safe. 36 15 28.
A box? A Red Sox game?
I taped over the game. LOL. Also, this means that this was recorded after Ben showed the tape to Jack last season.
Charles Widmore. dun Dun DUN!!!!! So he's The Man, then? Well, according to Ben he is.
One of Ben's people got caught spying.
So Ben doesn't know about Widmore having the diary. Or he just doesn't know about the diary period.
So did Widmore orchestrate the boat race hoping Desmond would shipwreck on the island and between Desmond and Penny pinpoint the exact way of accessing it? Or is that just a lucky accident? And would that mean that Libby was working for Widmore when she oh so conveniently gave her late husband's sailboat to Desmond?
Three months ago. So right when the plane crashed. Gainesville, FL What else on the show happened there?
Virgin Mary on the side of a house. Wait, did this happen on the show, or is this something I remember from the news.
So Ben's starting to talk about miracles. Spins his argument towards Locke's interests "how many people would come here to see you" rather than "how many people would come to see the island" which is Ben's paramount interest. Though Locke says that it's his as well.
Hmm. OK, now I'm doubting Ben's word again. Though it's more likely he's being honest here.
File on Widmore. And Ben gives it to Locke.
Ben claims that he held out because it's the only bargaining chip had left. I'm thinking that he held out so that Locke would be more willing to believe the file when he finally gave it up, which makes me wonder exactly what Ben's game is.
Who's the Ben's man on the boat? It's got to be Michael.

Part IV
Now Charlotte and Daniel are pursuing Juliet?
Kate stayed at Locke's (I love how it's "Locke's" rather than "the Barracks" or some such thing. Stay at Locke's!) because "she had to find something out," namely what the risks of getting off the island were for her. But of course Jack thinks it has something to do with Sawyer. Sigh. Here we go again.
At the Tempest. This is actually Goodwin's lab, I presume.
Muffins again.
Ben is so goofy it would be adorable if he weren't such a scary mo-fo.
I hope you like dinner rolls. (Oh, they're dinner rolls, not muffins) Hee!
Zach and Emma. Whose kids are they?
"Their mother in Los Angeles." So, they were abducted?
The kids were on the List.
Who are we to question the List? Oookay.
Oh, wait I was confused. This is after the crash. So Ben and Juliet's relationship went through a downward spiral real fast.
Three weeks since the crash.
"Making a case for Ana-Lucia." Interesting.
Playing with Juliet's feelings for Goodwin, of course.
Wait, so did Ben have a hand in Ana-Lucia accidentally killing Goodwin in self defense?
Manual operation of the Tempest.
Storage tanks of what?
Whaddaya mean "what are you doing here." Does this have to do with Daniel's flashes?
