So. These are Baltars groupies/worshippers/minions? Yeah, I'm sensing a theme here. Oh holy frak. They've built an altar to him? An altar to Gaius Baltar? Starbuck returns. And everyone is completely lost. Exept Apollo. "I did it, boss. I found Earth." "Everyone step back." Huh. She thinks she was only gone a few hours? Rift in time and space, maybe? Heh! Oh, Baltar. This place is brilliant, beautiful, but when am I getting the hell out of here? ;D King of fools - rather than be hated by everyone than loved by this lot. Heeeeee! They see his hallucinating as being all praying and holy and stuff! Heeeeee! OMG, if he get stigmata I am officially gonna roll on the floor with laughter. No wait, not bloody palms so much as a roll in the hay with an eager acolyte. Hmmmm. Lots of "I passed out" and "I don't remember" in Starbuck's story. I don't exactly blame them for being suspicious of her. Hmmmmm. And the viper is like new and the record is wiped . . . Interesting that three of the newly learned 4 are part of the discussion about locking her up and how she might be a Cylon or part of a Cylon plot. Very interesting how the newly learned 4 are so anti-Cyloncentric. Kind of like Sharon was. Lots of comparisons and mentions of Boomer this ep, too. Coincidence? Or . . . ?

Well....damn. Where did that hour go? Went by so fast! I was all, wow are we at the end of the ep already? What is particularly unnerving is that she doesn't know what is all means either.

Okay, I may be wrong, but I'm going on record as saying Roslin is the 12th model. Cancer be damned. Could just be a reaction to something and notice how the Cylon hybrid blood helped her. She's suddenly feeling like she's hallucinating. She's adamant about not following Kara's lead to Earth and had a crazed look in her eye when talking about Baltar. And, she was in that place with 6. I don't know. . .. Besides, Kara seems like too easy an answer and from a plot twist standpoint, Roslin would be a great choice. ;D

Whoa. Take my life, please. So, he did mean it? And, damn. She's . . . um . . . pretty damn good as a bodyguard after all. "I cut myself shaving." OMG!! BSG - bringing the funny in their final season. ;D ;D So - is the kid getting better? Did Baltar's offer of sacrifice tip the scales? Thats what they're all gonna think. What he's gonna think, maybe? Although I am suspicious of his number one acolyte. She looks too . . . knowing. Whoa. And now Starbuck is questioning herself too. Did they grow me in a petrie dish? My. Sam's "I'd still love you" speech. To be met with "I'd a bullet between your eyes." Holy frakkin' hell. Feel Starbuck's fists of fury. My oh my oh my oh my. Well. That's . . . Do you think that's Jane Espenson's influence? I found a couple of amusing things in this episode, as filled with angst as it was. ;D It went by too fast.

Dangit, I fell asleep cuddled up with my daughter on the couch so I'll have to watch it and play later.

Oh, yeah. That was totally frakin' mean of the writers. And oy to the imagery re: Gaius. Another freaky thing - the raider scanning Sam's eyes. OMG! Scanning his eyes? So unnerving! And then the red flash in his own and all the Cylons pull back? When I watched it, I thought Sam's eyes were just reflecting the raider's scan, not flashing/sending info. Now I'm not so sure.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Bastards.

As we watched BSG last night at my folks' house Greg's friend Jeff suggested that Doc Cottle is the 12th Cylon, an idea we immediately decided was entirely made of awesome.

Since everyone is suspecting her, of course it will turn out not be be her. Roslin is a very interesting choice! And, as you say, a nice plot twist. Plus, plausible, what with the fact that her early life was relavitely obscure and there really aren't any people who knew her from before. I could also see them doing someone we really haven't seen before. Either introduce them this season (I have some suspicions about the main Baltar acolyte woman), or have it be someone who has been there all along, but in the background.

But, I suppose to be fair I should acknowledge that they've always done the occaisional funny line, it's just not a show that's gonna be a laugh a minute, eh?

It just somehow seems too coincidental that the raiders pulled back right then. I mean, it could have just been a reflection . . . but Sam is worried about what it was too.

Since we're sharing theories, although I'm with Shan - 'if it's not Kara, then wtf?', I had a sudden flash on who it might be....especially after rewatching the episode today.
I think the 12th cylon is Apollo.
His whole discussion with his father about Kara being a possible Cylon and mentioning his brother and asking if Adama's what if it was him that returned - would his feelings for him change if he found out that he was a Cylon?
Foreshadowing that it might be Apollo?
Just a thought. Because I think 'Apollo's arrow' is more of a metaphor for finding earth than the actual arrow that Kara went back to get.
Hmmm....

And as we all know, Apollo's "arrow" almost always "points" towards Kara, who says she knows the way to Earth, so if we follow his "arrow" it will lead us to Kara who will lead us to Earth. ;D I have no idea who the 12th model might be. All I know is it's gonna be a hell of a ride finding out.

Although I am suspicious of his number one acolyte. She looks too . . . knowing. me, too. i wonder if maybe she set it all up. it seems...like not the most likely thing that they would keep being followed (in the earlier scenes too) and have a woman who seems so good at self-defense not notice. it made me wonder if she was aware of them being jumped as a possibility and was okay with that to try to prove to him how good she was at being his "right hand (wo)man" but then it got out of control for a while. (i'm not sure i'm expressing this suspicion very well.) i also thought it was interesting that baltar expressing actually wanting to be killed (whether or not he meant it) seemed to make the guy bent on vengeance hesitate to the point where he sorta seemed to lose interest in the idea. if the person you're trying to get revenge on wants to die, does it really feel like revenge any more?
