I thought it was the season finale until I read through the thread and realized that it wasn't. Maybe Chuck is going to download the Intersect again in the finale, only voluntarily this time. I agree. There was a bit of wistfulness about Chuck saying he could go back to his "normal" life. He will obviously miss being a spy...so being the intersect may be his only way to "contribute." Unless some twist makes him a full fledged operative instead of an asset. Maybe he goes to work with his dad in connection with some CIA program? Would be nice to keep Bakula around.

There's a short interview with Josh Gomez (Morgan) at tvguide (personally I did not find it to be the least bit spoilery -- not that long or indepth, no real specifics and more about stuff we already know then anything about the future. Extremely vague references to the finale having "big stuff" in it.) www.tvguide.com/News/Chuck-Finale-Epic-1005427.aspxwhich speaks to the that pre-finale finale vibe. This particular exchange: [/i] TVGuide.com: Are you excited to see the finale? Joshua Gomez: I'm really curious to see what the fans think of it. I know everybody kind of felt that this past episode was sort of a finale-esque episode. TVGuide.com: There was a lot of stuff that went down. Gomez: I know, it was like, "Wait, another hour? What else can happen?"[/i]

Hunt them down, dead or alive? And a promotion as a sweetener. Oh, Casey. "You can eat 'em if you want." ;D Oooooh, sexy Sarah, ready for bed and being all protective. Ha! OK, the drop down pic of Chuck to aim at? Funny! Disturbing, but funny. ;D He's taking down big Mike's swordfish? Grrrr! Although, between "cup up the corportate ladder" and "will you be my ass man" Emmett is totally cracking me up. ;D Hot Damn!!! Go, Chuck! Go, Sarah!! Heeeeeee! No condom? Ah ha ha ha ha!! Although, dude. There are things you can do that don't require a condom. Big Mike! Ha!! "Never take sides against the family again." Casey. The ultimate cock-block. Heee! He took the whole radiator! Love the whole dueling "can't leave Casey / I'm not leaving without Sarah" thing. Also? Casey can't seem to stop saving Chuck. "Stay in the car." "Technically, I still have one foot in the car." And Casey is gonna be all "I don't care".

Heeeee! They see Casey as a stalker of Chuck! Heeeee! A Chuck diary. "You went AWOL. You betrayed me." Hmmm. Hee! Captain Awesome checking out Casey. Ha!!! "I hate this whole family." If he's gonna keep calling Morgan his ass man? I am going to die laughing!! ;D ;D ;D OMG, they end up springing Chuck? Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Hey, Devon. Hey, John. And then he tries to talk him into getting help? Heeeeee!! Oooooooooh!! Will the truth have to come out now?

OMG, he actually told him! "I need you to be awesome. Can you be awesome?"
Morgan - you gotta take a stand and fight against Emmett. He's never gonna keep any of his promises.
Awwww. What a cute little dream he has. Anna will help you, Morgan!!
Oh! And, yeah, Casey gave his word. He don't like not keeping his word. (Also? Getting out of being tied up? Ouch!!)
Oh, Devon. You are totally the worst secret keeper. Ever!!
"And you didn't ask me to join." Yay, Casey!!
Group hug! Do it, do it, do it!!
And of course it's the bouncy animal ride thing entrance. And now for the classic over-the-top bad guy speechifying! With horn honking drive in guys! Heeeeeee!!

And he didn't stay in the car. Are we surprised? Are we? Really?
His dad made it for him, so . . . .
And they all flee yay!!
Ooooooh!! It removed the intersect from Chuck!!!! Whoa!! I did not see that one coming.
"Perhaps I should be promoting you to General." ;D And Casey protects Sarah. Nice!! ;D
"You are free to return to . . . whatever it is you do." Ha!
He's going to miss this, isn't he? Wanted it all gone, but now he's gonna want it back, isn't he? At least a little bit.
Morgan and Anna going to Hawaii?!?!! !! Awesome!!
Heee! And Chuck missed all this!
Slow clap!! ;D "You're free!" Like Chuck!
Awwwwww!! Great speech by Devon to Ellie, Chuck arriving with their dad as a present, inviting Casey to the rehersal dinner and him coming, Sarah too . . . Awwwwwwww!!! Everything is real.
And then . . . the fly in the ointment, yes? Of course!
Dead Fulcrum head guy is not so dead.

I kept wondering if this episode was going to be the season finale. It was a semi-wrapup but also clearly had hanging plot threads (like where does Chuck go now and is Morgan really going to Hawaii) but everybody was safe and there was enough 'closure' that you could imagine any number of possible futures for all of them. So now I'm really curious to see what happens next week. The Chevy Chase trying to kill them all subplot is totally minor, IMO, it's what will the fall-out be..... **nods** It's what happens because of what he does that will matter.

Oh, and ----- so anybody can be uploaded as an Intersect? Or, I guess all those guys at the drive-in had been especially tested to see if they had the same kind of brain-memory capabilities as Chuck. Or maybe the improved new version of the intersect he wsa supposed to be building was supposed to work on anyone? ;D Yes, it was (if looked at seriously) too goofy to be true. But as one of the examples in this ep of the two worlds colliding and crossing over each other? Funny!

The Save Chuck, eat Subway campaign.
Also, follow it on twitter.
Those of you who tweet (according to my kid) need to send a tweet with #savechuck and @nbc somewhere in the message.

That felt like 3 more episodes in one.
[Still not convinced that Brice is really most sincerely dead.]
So, next season they will need to get the intersect out because it's probably killing Chuck. But in the meantime he gets to really be Charles Bartholomew (?).
No more BuyMore, really?

But in the meantime he gets to really be Charles Bartholomew (?). No more BuyMore, really? Carmichael. Charles Carmichael. All the way through, Chuck was still wearing his hightop sneakers. I think he's still Chuck Bartowski inside, no matter what happens to him or what gets stuffed into those enormous squishy frontal lobes. The look on Casey's face when Chuck started taking out the bad guys...

This show constantly surprises me by being better than I'm expecting it to be. (Of course, there's tons of stuff that I gloss over too). But everything came together really well in this episode. Also, I was right! Ha! (Well, there were only a few directions the show could go, so really it wasn't that surprising. Bryce is like a chiseled statue. Wow. Looking at him is like going to an art museum. I loved how Sarah's dress transformed into something a little more conducive to fighting. And then her searching through the wedding presents for a weapon, LOL. I never did see whether that poor cake made it. Chuck's dad had an intersect too! I thought it was interesting how much flashing seemed to take out of him. Was that because it was an early model, because Chuck's dad is much older, or because over time flashing takes it's toll?

Both, I think. Early versions of anything tend to have unexpected bugs, plus he is older.
Though I liked, really liked, the nod to The Matrix when he all of a sudden knew kung fu. ;D

Return to the Buy More and all the changes . . . Heeee!
"I am a flaming heterosexual."
Oooooh! He quits! And Casey too!! Awesome!!!
Ha! "I think my country might have the wrong number." Ooooh, he got a nice bit of money, eh?
"Casey. Thank you for saving my life at least lonce a week." And then a hug! ;D And Casey gives him his number!!! Oh that is sweet!
Oh. But they brought back Bryce. Hmmmm. Sarah doesn't look that thrilled about "Larkin and Walker, together again", does she?
