A riot? Guess this means they are all still a bit too immersed in their fictitious world.
"I'd like to question him." "Oh. That's not going to happen." ;D
Interesting. We're getting comparison's between the college kids and the cops. Relationship meltdowns, roommates/partners driving each other nuts, "them versus us".
And very interesting to see Crews be totally not charming to the frat guy. Not smiling, not putting on a faux nice front. Just straight up hostile.

Cool!! We're getting some more background about Charlie and his time in prison.
I can understand why he might have walked away the first time the lawyer said she was going to try to get him out. For example, not believing that it would work and not wanting to get expectations up and then have it all go to hell again.
Oooooh! One of the college kids goes into the hole for something he didn't do. Which is a nice parallel to Crews, yes, but is a more interesting look at the personality of the guy who lied to save the other kid from "solitary".
"He went with a stripper for his first wife?"
Nice. Crews also needs to understand that this is not actually like real prison. There, people do go into solitary for protection. But in an experiment like this, I can see how someone would step up just to keep someone else from being punished. "Why not me?"
Hmmmm. Somehow, the "guards" had inside info about the "prisoners". How did they do that, eh?

An actual shank? Damn. Everyone was getting into this just a bit too much.
This is exactly what the experiment is supposed to get to - those moments when you question why you (or any human) would do something. Or why some people won't.
Just an observer, wouldn't let it get personal. So, that implies there is some reason it would be personal.
Oooooh, damn. The professor called his ex and pretended to be the reporter? Damn. Charlie is gonna kill him . . .
Damn. Charlie and Ted are a scary team.
"I never locked anything." Um. Which means anyone could have come in, too, right?
Ted still thinks Will is a hero. I can see that. I mean, he wasn't, not really. But I can see Ted thinking that.
Oh yay! And now a new wall is started!

That would have really thrown their investigation had it been relevant.

But once I was hit by the Crews parallel I started to get a feeling that they were going to twist the connection to make him the not so innocent one. Good show, enjoying Life more and more - witty, unexpected turns and I want to see more! leftylady

Wax fruit - "not real". So, are we gonna have some parallel "not real" stuff in the ep? Either as part of the case or (more likely) as part of the deeper mystery he's investigating? Squashed guy. Crushed! Crushed guy. Oh! Internet sex/relationships, and people lying about their looks. First example of "not real". Heee! Dani got sort of "squished" too. ;D **snortle** Ted teaching and them all typing away like mad and ditching the minute they think it's gonna be too hard. Heh!

They're scanning Bethany's messages to find what is "real" - finding the real facts.

Like in the ep last season with the bigamist guy living a hidden life.

So, is the dad a porn-film mogul or something? 'Cuz that'd be another "not real" element, I suppose. "Do men have to be disgusting? I mean, isn't there like an operation you can get?" "I think they're working on a pill." So, dad is like a former rock star guy? Runs a music empire or something? Huh. It looked like porn to me. ;D I should'a known. Porn is much more friendly and family-like than the music business.

Oh my. The "not thinking" conversation? Hot!! **fans self** "I don't like files. Too work-y." ;D "I'd say that idea is repulsive." "Those are the very first words each of my three wives said to me."

"Any idea who's not you, Bethany?" Such a classic Crews question. OK it's definitely a theme. "I'm in the real world now." And she is really unhappy with someone pretending to be her. Like the album cover. Whoa! Jack.

Jack's been protecting the girl, he's glad Charlie got the guy who killed her parents. And he's been "cleaning up" Charlie's mess ever since he got out? Hmmmmmmm. Whoa, Ted. Gettin' tough with the students. "There was no mention of pencils. Will we be needing pencils?" "Are you out there online pretending you're something you're not?" Dani is doing a nice job making him nervous about what the photo was. What did he think it was? Did he think it was that photo - or another one? "Are you thinking about what I'm thinking about?" "About Reese in the shower? No." "How come no one out here treats me like a commanding officer!" Nice musing about secrets, by the way. It's real! So, he'll share the secret with her. Who did it? Who did he see, if not Bethany? The mom/wife?

Yep! It was mom.
Took one look at a computer and saw a whole world in there.
Also? Dude! She's gorgeous! Why would a guy see that and not be all "wow, hot damn"?
