*beccaelizabeth will have a reaction when her brain reboots again* Cliffhanger!!! !! !!!!! **nods, somewhat wildly True dat. In person, the rhinos are still, you know, imposing. But the thing as a whole? Not as impressive. ;D You could sooooo see them thinking "yeah, right". **snicker** Ahem. Yes. Yes.

OK, still in shock from the last 5 minutes. But two things... 1. When they were with the Shadow Proclamation, did it not sound like Donna had 2 hearts? Or was it just supposed to indicate that her heartbeat was REALLY loud? Because it sounded echo-y...and a little bit like the sound of drums. I totally went to a Master/sound of drums place too. Eeeeeep. That, that, that . . . . would maybe mean something, wouldn't it?

Because it sounded echo-y...and a little bit like the sound of drums. it sounded that way to me too. actually, at first i thought somehow we were hearing his heart and seeing donna, since the camera was shooting her from a bit away at first. wow, i totally missed that!

trivia from the botany geek: the doctor said the planet the bees went to, their home planet, was named melissa something (i rewound it but still couldn't catch the rest). melissa is the genus of lemon balm, a plant which has been used as a major nectar source for honeybee hives since antiquity.

The Doctor and Donna were expecting something? What day is it? Why, it’s Christmas Day, mate! ;D Actually, no. It’s Saturday. OK then. Dude! Totally makes me late for work! Heh! It does. So, small props budget? You're on fire, girl! I'm afraid I've gotten to the point where I always assume they'll be Daleks. Like unexpected naked!Jack, Daleks are always expected. Why did we not get the world ending sex! I mean, the forehead kisses were sweet, but I wanted hot! Or sweet!hot. Or hot!sweet!hot. Or an orgy. I'm not picky. It all always goes back to the Time War, doesn't it? #rofl# I want to do the fjords and fiddly bits! Brainshare! That so totally was a jet pack. I mean, yes, teleporter thingee too, but I'll bet it also had a jet pack in there too. But thos 2 eps also included her helping to save him from the whole "year spent being tortured/killed over and over" thing too. Plus, she's a link to his ever elusive woobie the Doctor. I'll bet the dolphins left too. They were just more discrete about it. And a clever sussing out of a likely weak point on a Dalek. Yeah. Especially with the whole "that can never be used" bit. **nods** Clap if you believe in fairies. Well, he's actually an alien clone-type guy who she took into her home and tells everyone that he's her son, but yeah. ;D I repeat - on fire, girl! Very surprising ending. I mean, I've been trying and pretty much succeeding at avoiding info about what the finale was, but I would have thought that a new Doctor would have been news I couldn't have missed! But I guess I was wrong, because it sure looks like he's regenerating. I wonder into who?

Oh. My. God. I heard the heartbeat and wondered if she was hearing The Doctor's, but you may be on to something, Erin. And, hey! I thought DT was doing another season! What the. . .? What the, indeed! The heartbeat and the thing on her back and so on mean something, but it's gonna be darn hard to wait for next week.

I found the music just before they all got called by Harriet Jones and while she was attempting contact and the round-up to be very stirring. Very evocative. Awesome set up for the finale. I loved this episode. How are you guys enjoying it so far? Rockin' out to this ep!

Why did we not get the world ending sex! I mean, the forehead kisses were sweet, but I wanted hot! Or sweet!hot. Or hot!sweet!hot. Or an orgy. I'm not picky. ... much as I appreciate the thought, I think the 'why' is that the show goes out at 7pm and is meant for 8 year olds. Not that there necessarily has to be a lack of hotness at 7pm. Adrift had quite a bit of hotness even in the family edit. Just... not the sort of solution that comes to mind so much in the family show.
