'Revelations' Giles gets hit on the head, again. Twice. Really nasty this time, trip to the hospital with scared medics. Bandage and black eye. I really wish they'd stop doing that to him. (I know, series over, no more happening, but I don't like him always getting beat up) It kind of makes brawn win over brain, just for instance. Not so much a good message. Xander compared to Faith - Xander sees a bad thing, he goes to smart person and checks facts. Faith sees a bad thing, she decides to go kill. Slayer=law? Faith=too much? Faith=friendly fire, again. Hit Buffy by accident before, hit Buffy on purpose now. Threw Xander across the room, which is entirely out of order, him being human and helpless. All that muscle, no control. No power if you can't apply it right.
The fake Watcher thing raises the question of what exactly a real Watcher is. One appointed by the Council? Later on we see, not so much. So it has to be a by their fruits you know them thing, they just do the work. But fake Watcher lady and also the Mayor do parts of the work. So it is also about the mission.
