JD is lookin' damn fine. Woo hoo! New Scrubs! Love the snark. "That was harsh, but no one cared." ;D Heh! Perry trying so hard to hate the new attending - Ha!! "I'm. I'm the lawyer." "Of course you are, sweetie!" Oh, Ted. Sweaty Teddy. The overly-touchy orderly. ;D

Yay! The doctor with the high squeaky voice is still there! Heh! Oh, JD. Of course you know the intern that put Dr Cox on a suicide/homicide watch. OMG, he is treating JD like an equal! And that was a nice moment there between them.

OMG - new evil chief of medicine versus Jordan? It's the end of the world!! Super-friendly and soulless. And then with the pillow smothering?! "Treat 'em and street 'em." Steak ni-III-ght! And now it's a catch phrase. Ha!! MAN, I missed this show. ;D I. Am. Dying! The steak night song and dance. Ha!

"There. I'm hurt and embarrassed. Are you happy now?" "Little bit." I'm really loving the fully coupled-up lookin' JD and Turk, all huggy and "shootin' off flares". ;D OMG OMG OMG! "Head-butt him, right in the face. So, that's what I got goin' on, what's up with you?" This intern is gonna be good for sooooo many laughs this season. ;D Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! New evil chief and Jordan became friends!! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! "When Carla dies, heaven is gonna suuuuck!" Ha!

Much to love last night...but Lola? Did it seem like there was energy missing? Something felt a little bit off.
Maybe it was the lack of Janitor and The Todd.

Much to love last night...but Lola? Did it seem like there was energy missing? Something felt a little bit off. Maybe it was the lack of Janitor and The Todd. I thought the first ep was a pretty usual energy ep, with the slight strain that always happens when a show has been off the air for a while. And the second ep had slower moments, but I wonder if it was more in the usual way when Scrubs has its more "serious" moments - like the scene between JD and Cox or the storyline with the terminal patient and JD and Turk being more solemn at the end. I think they're definitely having the older characters change and grow a bit. I was reading an interview with the creator guy where he said that he always planned on continuing to bring in new characters, like the new interns each year, give them their own story arcs and so on. And he's done that in small ways, but he never did as much as he planned because he was surprised that all the regulars were totally wanting to keep coming back each year. So, I imagine we'll see a lot done with the new interns this season. I am fairly convinced that the Janitor will find a way back and I sure hope we see The Todd. ;D

No, I think you're right. And it has now been literally YEARS (ok, 2) since I've actually watched a show when it aired on regular TV. It's amazing what you forget about the structure of seasons, etc. The jury's still out (for me) on JD's facial hair, though.

Much funny!
Love the visuals. Red balloons and Courtney Cox and the key that opens all locks.
It will be fun getting to the characters better, but I think they did a good job of introducing the majors to those of us who are nubie watchers.

Ooooooh, a nubie!! ;D You should see if you can watch some of the repeat eps on Comedy Central or one of the other channels they air on! So funny! And while there is an ongoing story with all of them, you really don't need to see them all in order, they can be funny just one on one.

Heh! Love the oh so very disturbing way that Janitor and Kelso get Jordan "heatin' up". ;D Also? Barking drunken Janitor is too funny. "You've never pictured me as an organism that has sex, have you?" "We have not." "I understand." Heh! "The nursing staff has already turned on you." OMG! Breaking and entering is gotten too "mundane" for the Janitor and so he's created a "character" who's afraid of going back to jail. Heeeeee! ;D And Mickhead?!! The evil evil wonderfull evil continuity, with the whole strangling to get it up thing? OMG! Only on Scrubs.
