John Boehner has no sense of shame, does he? All I can think of for an explanation is that someone has him by the short hairs. Because seriously? He went for the American's people's emotions, whereas the President tried to be factual and honest. Sadly, too many people think more with their gut when they should be using their heads.

Got a bit of flack from people on taking the girls to see Harry Potter! I guess it is the same sort of stuff that people used to say about Buffy - do people really, really, really not understand the concept of fiction and metaphor? OK - well, just blowing off some steam. I totally ignored the comments. Sadly, I think that yes, people do not understand fiction and metaphor.

I think they not only can't tell the difference, but that they don't even know what those words mean!

Ah...and so it begins in earnest...makes you wonder.... C.ameron has said that he will not let “phony concerns about human rights” get in the way of the “fight back” against the riots and unrest.
His proposal to ban the use of social media indeed shows how little he is concerned about basic human freedoms.Read more: www.care2.com/causes/camerons-proposal-to-ban-social-media-recalls-mubaraks-internet-shutdown.html#ixzz1VCF1XzrbAre we going to sit back and take this, like we accepted stuff (Homeland Security) like this after 9/11? In the name of safety, bad things are done. Sounds like a season of Angel. And we all know how all of that ended.

I think we should all have read Skinny Legs and All in preparation for Glenn Beck's trip to Isreal.

I love how Perry is so obviously two-faced. On one hand, he denies the science of evolution and global warming, but embraces the vaccine for HPV. Of course, he had a little nudge there from Merck. And what's with only pushing it on little girls and not boys? Boys can (supposedly) get cancer from the virus also.Lew's titers for HPV were very high when he was diagnosed, and they said that his type of cancer (head and neck) was known for that. Interestingly, his titers tested very low during treatment but went up again after, but the doctors never treated him for the virus. Hmm....maybe we should look into that. I don't think he's ever been tested again. RE: last night's Republican 'debate'......all I could think of while watching was the quote from Burn Notice - "You know politicians spies. Bunch of bitchy little girls.
