Meh. I'm all askew with NCIS eps. I can hardly keep up with new everythings. OTOH, I'd trade all kinds of ep-behind-ness for not having just been attacked AGAIN by the lid to the washing machine. Because I bruise easily and a black eye isn't the kind of thing you really want to have to explain to a bunch of guys like the ones I work with. Or maybe it is... You may find NCIS on "On Demand" -- if you have that. I"m sure they are elsewhere online. So: you, I, Spring and Sara are all big NCIS fans. Anybody else? *waves*

I liked this week's NCIS (I don't plan to watch the west coast NCIS). Ziva is a wonderful character, and I liked the way they resolved the "Ziva was on a mission to kill Ari" thing. Her scene with Gibbs was great. I hope they have some Ari flashbacks or something, sometime. I mean, he was the meanest dude ever ("Sorry, Caitlin."), and I wanted Gibbs to get his man, but I miss Ari. Such a great foil for Gibbs, plus: Rudolf Martin being sexy without Dracula makeup on! That's some major goodness right there.

I thought so and was going to put you in the original list but knew you would speak up. And Diane. Lots of gray areas abounding if you watch all 5 seasons carefully.

I just added rec's in the Reading Recommendations thread (in both the SPN and Stargate threads) for SPN/SGA crossover fics written by LJ's savingfaith333. I didn't even think to start recommending some of the wonderful SPN fics I've been reading, so I'll probably start adding them as I think of them. Because I've read A LOT of awesome fic over the past several months.

**Kid Brag Alert**Kid Brag Alert**Kid Brag Alert** Go to the NYT article here: www.nytimes.com/2009/09/29/sports/29sandomir.html?_r=1About half way down see the mention of Steve James who was Emmy nominated for "Hoop Dreams." And reference to the film he is directing on Allen Iverson, more info here: 30for30.espn.com/film/no-crossover-the-trial-of-allen-iverson.htmlWell, here is the thing. Steve James was Allison's prof for her documentary class at NU and his reference got her the summer internship at Kartemquin. One of the producers on the film, Emily H., has had Allie working on bits and pieces of the film. I"ll have to find out if her name will appear in the credits -- it may be such low level grunt work that it won't, I don't know how these things work. Allie's note said: Emily H*** is who I've been emailing/working with on continuing to do things for the Allen Iverson doc called No Crossover that Steve J is making. Steve J was my professor and the one that the nytimes article link talks about as the most exciting one to have on board.
It's just one of the films coming from my time at Kartemquin that you'll be able to see on TV in the next year.If someone googles Steve J is this kind of thing going to turn up? I so don't know the protocol for name dropping.

That, too. Franklin has to leave for work early today, thanks to a group photo (his back was so bad yesterday that he came home at 2pm); Sam is opening, and due at work at 11:00; Anna has a festival of doctors appointments starting at 11am, so they'll be gone by 10:15 and Iwill have the house to myself for long enough, maybe, to write Emails and make various doctors appointments myself aswell as do the thirty-gazillion loads of laundry that have built up when I was gone during the day (Friday, Saturday), or sick (Sunday), or it was raining (Monday, Tuesday, and probably to resume tomorrow). Also, maybe, to catch up on some Emails, I hope, and gift orders from Amazon that I've not been allowed the quiet to pursue. Two open posts on Live Journal which I won't link to but rather point out: my friend and co-May 12 person Malnpudl had dinner with CKR last Saturday, and has a report up on her LJ, and weird_cowgirl posted a photo of her with Dan Ackroyd at a Crystal Skull Vodka event yesterday in Seattle. Yes, my daughter's boyfriend is as big a nerd as the rest of us. Julia, I am too burned out by the events of the month to deal with the details, but the festival of appointments is because Anna's health coverage was mistakenly cancelled on Sept. 1, and just reinstated for the month of September on Monday.

Checked it out because of the love here, and caught up sufficiently during the summer (between reruns and streaming Netflix) to get ready for the new season. Rich, on the other hand, is at the place where he threatens to set fire to his head if I have it on while he's in the room. So I DVR and watch it during the day. That's how we roll.

*sigh*
Silence.
Julia, solitude as seasoning is great; as a total diet, it palls.

I wouldn't even know where to begin. You could start with Tracey_loo_ hoo's rec list. But even she doesn't have everything. Yep, I was going to post a link to her rec list. And then post all the ones I've enjoyed that aren't on that list. There's a TON of good Dean/Castiel fic out there. Our 'shippy cup runneth over. ;D
