Bleargh. Husband was up at 12:30 in the AM, coughing and coughing... I dosed him up, he slept propped up on the couch the rest of the night, what there was of it. The paper was not here yet, last I looked. We're going into a two-day (at least) spell of hot dry red flag fire warning Santa Anas dust everywhere allergies galore weather. However, it's the Younger Daughter's birthday, Happy 17th Birthday Katherine! Happy Birthday Kitty!

The lovely, sad, evil, drunken glee! ;D And don't she and Will just look so happy singing together?!Yes, happy. One might say 'gleeful'. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Love Glee. Cougartown was a hoot. I am in love with all the minor characters, and Courtney Cox makes a good foil for them all. It's at times off the wall kooky but it also has a few moments of seriousness sprinkled in. I can relate to a lot of it because I have a friend going through the same phase in her life who is acting in much the same way. It's just a fun show! I so agree. The minor characters are perfect on Cougar Town and that's what makes it work for me. I just enjoy it to pieces. And Glee. Glee. Maybe this time. Somebody to love. Brain all explody.

Carina Pillar and Jets Credit: NASA, ESA, and the Hubble SM4 ERO TeamExplanation: [/b] This cosmic pillar of gas and dust is nearly 2 light-years wide. The structure lies within one of our galaxy's largest star forming regions, the Carina Nebula, shining in southern skies at a distance of about 7,500 light-years. The pillar's convoluted outlines are shaped by the winds and radiation of Carina's young, hot, massive stars. But the interior of the cosmic pillar itself is home to stars in the process of formation. In fact, placing your cursor over this visible light image will reveal a penetrating near-infrared view of pillar - now dominated by two, narrow, energetic jets blasting outward from a still hidden infant star. Both visible light and near-infrared images were made using the Hubble Space Telescope's newly installed Wide Field Camera 3. [/quote] Oooh, the pretty.

This may only be exciting to me, but the new MST3K collection? Features the ultra-creepy awesomeness of Santa Claus!
Now, if they'd release Teenage Crime Wave and Village of the Giants? I could die happy.

Man. A thousand rooms for next year's DragonCon go up for reservation at 7:00 this morning, and are sold out by 7:45.
Glad I got me a couple. Though I had to go to the Hilton to get Thursday night.
Maybe I'll be able to add Thursday and Monday nights later on, like I added Monday this last year. We shall see.

I miss the dance aerobics that were all the craze 30 years ago. This is similar, with a Latin flavor. The girl who is going to lead the class (at my friend's Yoga studio) hasn't been doing it for long and is very nervous - so we'll all be learning together.

![](http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/love/wavey.gif) It's 47° out there, and windy. I guess now that we've achieved October, I ought to turn on the heat. ![](http://www.soulfulspike.com/staff/smileys/love/grouphug.gif)
