I thought we were the den of iniquity, wherever we go. I mean, between you, me, and Lola, there's more iniquity than iquity. And would you be Dean and me Cas? Or would it be the other way around? I mean, I'm more the funny sarcastic one (Dean), but I'm also the one who is pure of heart and angelic and who tends to be a sexy BAMF (Cas) . . . so really, I guess I'm both, if such a thing is possible. So Spring is Sammy, drinking demon blood and starting the apocalypse? Actually, that sounds about right. It's like they based the show on us!

*laughs* Oh, honey, y'all will have to put in a bit more effort to make me even think about being scared off. Trust me - in some corners of the forsaken wasteland of LiveJournal, my friends and I are considered to be highly insane. In that "oh, look, they're nutters, but they're generally friendly, but the intensity of their quirks and oddities makes me strangely ambivalent* about getting to know them" way. *please note that I'm going by the proper definition of having contradictory emotions, not what a lot of people seem to think about it meaning something like apathetic. Or maybe just the people I've met. ...I really need to just not talk sometimes. XD Nnnnoo, you're gramatically competent, somewhat prolix, and have similar pet peeves to many of us present. You're perfect for our experiments. *gets out vaccu-exsanguination kit, polishes needles. * *hums to self about narwhals* What is it with people exsanguinating me? I mean, you'd think that would be a rare thing, right? And yet you get icons like this: (I dunno, I can't get the bbcode to work? so y'all get a link. ) FIXED THANK GODS. Yes, that is about me, and yes, that was an actual quote from an actual chat. I love my friends. XD (incidentally, that took WAY too long to get. WHYFOR SO SLOW WITH THE LOADING MY WEBSITE, DREAMHOST?)

Of course I voted. We need to stuff the ballot. There is one pooch with 43 votes to Nanucci's 19. I voted for the little bugger last night, although I think this shameless pandering is unseemly.

Whatnow what? If we're talking starsigns and not... something else, then I am a Gemini! Only just barely, but I made it in by a day or two, I think. XD Ha! I thought I recognized a fellow Gem. There are a few of us on the board. Quirky and odd and having contradictory emotions. I have found quite a few Gems in fandom. Also a surprising number of Virgos and Libras... totally beside the point.

Also a surprising number of Virgos and Libras... totally beside the point. Yes, I think that the geminis alone make up fully one-twelfth of fandom. EDIT: Come to think of it, with the Virgos and the Libras, I'd be willing to say that we collectively make up as much as a quarter of fandom as a whole. hmm.

Ooooo, pretty bear! *tries desperately not to look like she totally just sauntered in here for the first time, what?* Howdy. Julia, constant gnawing anxiety that the next newby might be Stephen Colbert satisfied... no, not really one of my anxieties.

No, random lady who called to see if the museum is open--I am not going to go online and figure out if there's a Walgreens between here and Lake George for you. Cripes. Duuuude. We get calls like that all the time. And people asking us for the phone numbers of other places. And for the addresses of other places. And directions to other places. WTF, world? WIPING YOUR ASS IS NOT IN MY JOB DESCRIPTION. When I was working my last job-except-farming-and-motherhood-which-required-I-answer-the-phone in an office leased from The Evergreen State College, I regularly got calls during vacation asking me which college offices were open. It wasn't higher than fifth or sixth on the list of reasons that was the last time I worked in an office. Julia, reason number one, the person who preceeded me in the job and fucked up the bookkeeping so badly it took me eight months to figure it out, was in a crosswalk in front of Trader Joe's the other day. It is a measure of my maturity that I did not yell "gun it!" when I recognized her.

So, aside from your utility in oxygen transfer, why are you and yours pulling up stakes and moving from the lower left to the upper right? (he inquired quite nosily) Arizona is just as miserable as it was when I was growing up, the heat has made it nearly impossible for AJ (the wifey-poo) to stand up without getting dizzy, and... well, we just sorta hate big spread-out places. We're both City girls at heart (and by "City", I mean "New York City" - it's the only city that gets a capital.) and we know people up in Ithaca and it's not TOO horrifically far away from Home, so... up we go, with our cliché lesbian u-haul, and our Master-turned-auto (I named my jeep Koschei. He is, predictably, a fickle bitch. But I love him.) full of animal goodness. I'm also overly fond of parenthetical asides, if no one had caught that yet.

Well, yes and no, as we are spread across 4 time zones in the U.S (but our west-coasters do seem to be early risers) and England. Fortunately we are a non-discriminatory group who embrace all races, creeds, colors, genders, age-groups, life-styles, political parties, and even alternative show preferences. Plus, you admitted, in the end, to the SPN love. But watch out for Monnie and Pixi when dissing Kripke. (Kidding -- since you don't know us it's probably dangerous to try to be humorous without a clear disclaimer. It's simply that we have a few members currently in thrall big time to SPN in general and Castiel/Misha in particular.) It's actually fine to express personal frustration with a show-runner or plotline. As for run on sentences and rambling -- well, look around you. Oh, and, what does XD mean? Clearly all the cook kids (you) are using it. What brought you to our fair shores? Oh, I'll happily admit that I adore the show, Misha and Castiel are both love in completely different ways, and that I will watch it until the end no matter what. There are just certain sexist/racist things that I firmly believe are unintentional but that make me wince epically. I want to punch kittens sometimes, what with, for example, the few females seeming to, without fail, be evil, dead, an ex-lover, or some combination of the above. Please oh please let Ellen and Jo survive this season, PLEASE.... *prays* But in the end, I love it to pieces, more than pie. After all, I think being critical of a show either means that you can't stand it, or that you love it so much you want to pick out its flaws in the hopes SOMEONE notices them and makes the show better. I'm definitely in the latter camp.Actually, I was looking up something in regards to the Buffy episode "The Zeppo", and stumbled across the review on the main site off a google hit. Started poking around, thought you lot looked interesting, but was afraid that the site would be dead, since most of the stuff was dated from 3-4 years ago at least.
And then I saw the stuff on Dollhouse and realised you were still kicking! And here I am. ^_^We are kicking, to say the least. Me, I am a wuss, and can't watch Supernatural for lack of tolerating bloodshed and exploding angels, et'c. So at least you have honorable and grown-up reasons to resist it. Julia, a west coast person who used to get up early, before the rest of my family stopped going to bed at all, apparently
