S'cubies! Here is the dress I've started for the wedding dress design for angelique. I don't want her to have to worry herself about she wants on her big day . . . let's do it for her! That way, all that will be left for her to do is the actual construction work! What are friends for? As you can see, it has that Renaissance feel that Angelique likes, plus it proudly proclaims her allegiance to S'cubiedom! But I really think it needs a li'l sumpin' sumpin' more . . . your input appreciated.

People who announce that you don't have a sense of humor just because you don't think their particular brand of humor is funny belong in that same special hell as the people who demand that you SMILE! OMG!!1elventy. So much fucking word for this. Here's what I was just telling Sara about the exchange: The doc is going out of town for the rest of the week, and we decided to close the office on Saturday, so we posted a sign on the front door saying we'll be closed that day. She came in and said, "Why are you going to be closed on Saturday?" I explained doc is out of town, and she said "So, just because she's not here your office can't be open? That's kind of silly, don't you think?" This is the first time since we moved into this building almost 3 years ago that we actually are closing a day that's not a holiday. We haven't had anyone wanting to schedule anything for that day, so doc thought it'd be nice to not have to pay us to sit around and twiddle our thumbs for 4 hours, so she decided to close for that day. I told the client as much, and then she said something like, "Well, I was just teasing you about it!" And I told her that we get grief from A LOT of clients for daring to be closed for one day, so we are all a little defensive about it, and then she said "I was only just being funny. If J. (our receptionist) were here, she would have thought it was funny (she wouldn't have), J. gets my sense of humor, where is J. anyways?" I tell her she's at lunch, and she said "Well, you tell her that she's not allowed to go anywhere if I'm supposed to come in. You see, I was just being funny there too, J. would have gotten the joke." I'm willing to be "J" is faking it to be nice. Because none of that is funny. And just remember - if someone's having to tell you they're funny? They're not funny.

This is a question for Monnie-bonnie - she is the one with the bot.

She needs to hold a stake in her hand (or maybe a scythe?) and the piece de resistance: a hat with a chicken on it. Not a chickent--a cow! Great ideas! I will see what I can find. Whether a chicken or a cow, a scythe or a stake, will depend on what I can get the best image of, but I think these touches will bring this to perfection.

Gorgeous sky! And beautiful reel! The first shot of it has a very yin-yang feel to it. And Kaylee, of course, is always adorable.
