Third grade—you've just only ever seen me in contacts. Ha! Seriously - great job on the spot coloring of the black and white photo. Thank you. It was ridiculously easy involved hours and hours of painstaking work—I'm quite tired.

Showing off what I did this morning: Love it! By "what you did," I assume you mean the photoshopping of the pic to make it B&W, with the splashes of color? Or did you also find the pic, scan it, crop it . . .? Whatever part you played, I love this pic. Wonderful.

Showing off what I did this morning: The more I look at that, the more I like it. I haven't done bubbles for a while, maybe (when it stops raining) I should do some, eh? Julia, that was always the March recreation when the kids were little.

Have hung towels out to dry, which immediately called the rain that had been heading due west to due east to suddenly coming right over the top of me, and doing so when I was in such a position (entangled in incompletely pruned out roses) that I couldn't get to them before they were so heavy and wet that it's pointless to bring them in.
OOPS.
Julia, again

Whatever part you played, I love this pic. Wonderful. Yeah, I meant the Photoshopping of the image to be black and white except for the bubbles and the bottle. Those parts are still their original color. The original image can be seen here; my alteration is for an invitation to an event we're hosting to honor the organization Casting for Recovery.

Sara, your daily photos are wonderful, and the one you posted here is really nifty - you did a great job with the conversion to b/w. Since Emily's evening class was cancelled tonight, and it's nice outside, I took advantage of it being Tuesday, and she and I walked up to the farmers' market. We got produce for dinner - fuji apples, d'anjou pears (and the lady gave us a satsuma tangerine), our first strawberries of the season - and some small cakes that we were told are "chocolate decadence". I also bought an ammonite pendant from a booth of jewelry, mineral specimens and other shiny things; Emily bought a chunk of fossilized coral, which is sliced open to show the agate interior. So I've done two exercise walks today. Therefore, I should not feel guilty if I decide to stay home tomorrow and be a lump. Right?

I know that posture of playing dogs, and how fast they're moving in and out of it; lovely shot! Julia, still fighting bad light today

Did my stationary cycling while watching BtVS - this time Killed by Death. This is really quite a good ep. Love the way it ends with Buffy getting that gory picture of herself, drawn by the little boy. And I really love the Xander-Angel confrontation in the hospital corridor. Xander - he rocks! And the constant riffing with Cordy . . . so good. And David B - I know he wasn't very experienced as an actor going into BtVS, and it showed, especially in contrast with that outstanding cast. But he really starts to hit his stride once the character loses his soul, and though you can still see him growing as an actor throughout the next few seasons, you start to see - in those little moments like "telling Joyce about making love to Buffy" and "confrontation Xander in the hospital" that he can achieve brilliance. The BtVS watching is really helping me do my exercise!

Very skillful, not to say masterly. Julia, not at all good at that level of detail.

Heh. I was just teasing Monnie. Guess it came across a little strong. Seriously - I get all my news of the fandom from the S'cubies. We depend on those of us who venture from home to give us the scoop! ;D Yeah, I was teasing too, I've just been extra bitchy and tense the past week or so and it's been bleeding over into every interaction I have. I'm sorry, Karen. I just get such tunnel vision that I start thinking if people aren't really active in a fandom then they must have no interest in the actors. Plus, I know the majority of the people on this board must get tired of constant posts about SPN and the actors and the fandom, so I just got out of the habit of posting about it a lot. Moving on now, check out this cool music vid, from the same group that did the cool treadmill vid a couple years back: Wonderful vid! So fun!!
