Well, the luggage is on its way. Oy. After a 2 1/2 hour trip to the Providence airport (it usually takes 40 minutes) due to the flooding in Warwick, a 2 hour delay before take off due to a faulty fuel line, and barely making the Phoenix plane back home...yikes. April 1 just has to go up from here, right? Right? Indeed. So sorry for the travel hassles. Yeah, I never pack my glasses in checked baggage, fer sure. I also had my April 1 yesterday. Arrived at doc's appt to learn that it was for NEXT Wed. (I think we must have had a conversation that went "not this Wed, next Wed ... and scheduler and I were starting from different "Wednesdays" somehow.) Then, as I was leaving to tutor I stopped on driveway due to workman's truck at bottom. Since it is steep I set my parking brake while I got out to get the mail and newspaper. Then I forgot to unset it and drove 5 miles on the interstate with parking brake on. Wanted to call mechanic to find out how much trouble I was in, but had forgotten cell phone. Well, all minor mishaps and looking forward to today as first day in 2 weeks with no visitors either in or out and no big events coming up. Lots of catching up to do!

Okay, so I think I've collected enough courage to post here now... My name is Evanna (though IRL that would be Ellinor) and I'm new to this forum. Have been lurking around for a while though, and first got here through SpringSummers analyses (which I love). I'm eighteen years old, and I live in the northern european country called Sweden (which explains why my English is not always dead on, but I hope it's good enough.). I started watching BtVS about a year ago, and finished it, along with AtS recently (due to my pause in the middle of the third season). Right know I'm rewatching the seventh season, via different streaming sites, which I always have done, since it's not on Swedish television that much. Part from Buffy I'm obsessed with the author Scott Westerfeld (he's written the Uglies series, among others), the Harry Potter books and a lot of other things. Most of my spare time is spended at the computer, though I enjoying playing floorball (a sport that's quite popular here in Sweden, sort of like ice hockey, without the ice.) I think that went quite well, and I hope I at least didn't make any major mistakes, I read the FAQ, so hopefully I avoided the big ones and did a respectable job presenting myself, 'cause I really like this forum, based on what I've seen so far.

So...Emily is tall and thin. Is anyone surprised by this? No? Neither is her pedi. She's holding the curve for 75th percentile in height perfectly, for months now. Her head circumference is also on a perfect curve. Her weight, though, has dropped from 90th at 2 months to 40th now. And her pedi isn't concerned. "Neither of you (her parents) are exactly large people." Also, I love that my pediatrician is so pro-breastfeeding. "Also, remember that these charts are for formula-fed babies, since most babies are formula fed after six months. Breastfed babies tend to grow really fast early on, then level off sooner. It's perfectly normal." And, hey, she's hitting her developmental milestones early, with the exception of rolling front-to-back, which she shows no interest in whatsoever. But she can stand while holding the furniture already.... Also? She didn't cry over her shots today. Such a good baby. I think she's planning on bypassing rolling and shooting right past it to running. I mean, really, how much fun is rolling onto her back compared to that? Excellent news that she is doing so well. It's true. Some babies miss a milestone or two and go right on. My Beth never crawled. She scooted and then she was walking--and then running.
