Welcome to Part 1099 of the Soulful Spike Society Main Thread!!! And we should know. You have no idea how many 'bots there are the Thrall Room here. There are the Spikebots, the Xanderbots, the Willowbots, the Gilesbots, Malbots (not to say they are badbots, just Mal) and we're working on more. So, human or 'bot, you're welcome to come and network with us. We may have 'bots available for check-out (assuming Spring and/or Monnie and/or Jan haven't locked all the Spikebots up somewhere secret), but there are Rules for that and for general getting along with us and our 'bots. Read 'em if you haven't done so already or if you just need to re-boot your positronic relay. ;D If you're not interested in robotics but would still like to be hugely entertained, visit our website for great essays, reviews and fan fiction. Looking for a little verbal input or need to dump your memory of data on today's hottest topics? You can tap into our circuits here. Be sure to play nice and don't spoil us anywhere but Spoiled Souls or under the ghost button, or we'll remove your on/off switch for good and sell your parts on Ebay tm. Resistance is futile. Assimilation is inevitable the minute you see how much we all Love, love, love TV. Now, boot up whatever needs booting and interface!

Dumb R Me. It didn't hit me until just a little while ago , but I suspect the reason some of my photos of the one and only Blondie Bear wouldn't display when I posted them here earlier may have had something to do with the actions of Certain COWs who shall remain nameless, but whose foolish asshattery caused the substitution of one name for another. April Fools indeed. They had better hope they remain nameless. I thought the problem lay with either my pictures or with Photobucket, as a result of which erroneous assumption, I ended up deleting and reloading several images before I found one that would work. Vengeance shall be mine. *Fingers Mr Bolty, significantly*

Hey-ya!
Franklin is off, by train, to play around on the radio.
Which is good, because I was otherwise about readyto pinch his head off.
Julia, having a bad day, painwise, and not needing additional pain-in-the-ass behavior

Vengeance shall be mine. *Fingers Mr Bolty, significantly* I thought it was silly, jokey fun - the unintentional link problems that had us scratching our heads and all. Perfect for April 1. Whoever our (currently anonymous) jokester was, thanks for thinking to, and for going to the effort of, trying to give us some April Fool's Day silliness, fun, and excitement! And here is something for everyone:

Oh you lovely people! Thank you for the GORGEOUS pics...from the Velvet Goldmine/Firth/Tennant yummies to my favorite cops to the delicious lounging Dr. Tam! I am all and not from travelling etc nonsense... Thank you, everyone, for your good wishes, and for all the comfort you've given me over the past week. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be in my bunk, enjoying my gifts and giggling over the April Foolishness!

And here is something for everyone: <snipping the silly> Kinda harsh to call it "foolish asshattery." But yeah, I thought it was fun while it lasted. Put a big smile on my face when I was needing one, so that was nice. Kinda taking a jab at both me and Pixi going on and on about Misha, while at the same time taking a jab at all who get tired of listening to us go on and on about Misha (of which I'm sure there's a lot of you ). So, a win/win on both fronts, really. And lord knows, we've all been in need of some shits and giggles lately. At least, I assume that's what the trickster was aiming for. I still have yet to smoke out the evil genius, but I'm hoping to figure it out at some point. ;D

I don't enjoy being made a fool of, any day of the year. I manage that quite nicely by myself, thanks ever so. I should've added a disclaimer to my original post - YMMV, assume the IMO, etc etc. My bad.

It was fun and silly, and the link-troubles, for me, actually added to the fun. There is supposed to be some frustration and exclamation and confusion, in any good April Fool's joke . . . yet ultimately, it should all be without any serious consequences for anyone. So . . . perfect!

You know what? I'm as much entitled to my opinion as any other S'cubie. I did not enjoy the joke of the day. It caused me problems, it made a frustrating day worse, and I said so.
That's my opinion. If you don't like it, tough. We don't all have to agree on everything. I respect your opinions, and I expect you to respect mine even when you don't agree.
And on that note, I bid you all good evening.

Simply disagreeing with your perception, simply expressing an opposite opinion, is not disrespectful. I don't think you were intending disrespect when you disagreed with already expressed opinon that the April Fool's joke was fun. You didn't call anyone names, you just gave your perspective. Others did the same. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing disrespectful, nothing deserving of this "if you don't like it, tough!!" response. No one did anything different than you did.
