I am at work. The office machines are even protesting. Nick is on the golf course. Beautiful day. I hope to get out later, but I went last night and walked 9 holes after hitting balls for an hour and am still a little sore from it. Coming back from 5 months of winter is getting harder every year. But hey! I shot a 54. My best in a while, so maybe the time off was a good thing. Like Tiger.

Agonise about a parsnip, tell golfing anecdotes to a swivel chair; it's all the same to me.
No kidding.

Hey, all!! **falls over, lays on floor, whimpering quietly** OMG, this week at work! THIS WEEK AT WORK!! Oy! **flails a bit more** It's not the inbox, it's the irrationality? Julia, or was it perhaps a case of someone leaving or, even worse, the wrong person being hired?

Just dropping in to say hi! Was out of town all day at a meeting - but am home and looking forward to my first "not TOTALLY committed" weekend in quite awhile. Whew. I say any weekend during which one does not end up being "committed" is a good one! ;D leftylady

We have been to Faire, Paul and I. Shiny things were bought, Harp was drunk (I need to buy more Harp ), fun was had. I was mistaken for someone who works the Faire, by someone who works there. She admired my bodice, and when she found out I'd made it myself, started talking about someone else who probably made her own bodice, and who she assumed I knew. Flattering but weird, and nicer than being asked the location of the privies, which has also happened a time or two. I hope everyS'cubie else is having a pleasant Saturday. PS Thank you, Wise Diane, for your sage advice. I took the waistband off my blue overskirt and put a casing with elastic and a drawstring on. It worked much better, although I should probably put a new casing with wider elastic on before I wear it next time - I went with what I had, and the half-inch elastic is a bit too giving.

Greg and I had lunch with our grandmother today.
This evening, I let Greg know that from now on, when we have lunch with her he'll be driving because I'll be drinking.

Hey, what is the name of an online lingerie place for busty women? I feel like we've had this conversation before, but I'm too lazy busy to look it up.
