Did you see NCIS? If not, do you want me to tell you about long term character developments? (The murder of the week was fairly lame.) No - I have watched possibly two episodes this whole season, of NCIS. Same with House, the other show I used to watch regularly last season. I just totally lost interest. The only thing I watch is Project Runway when it is on, mostly because I like to play around on the S3 board with it . . . and then I watch a couple shows on the Food Channel, that are on once a week - Chopped, and Throwdown. These are half-hour shows and fun/competitin type of shows. Light and easier to . . . digest, so to speak. I haven't even been able to remember/motivated to watch Caprica. I tried to get interested in Glee, but no-go. Every once in awhile I catch an ep of Supernatural, though it is a very "season long story" kind of show, and really hard to follow a single ep if you haven't been watching regularly. I don't feel particularly negative about any show, or particularly disappointed - it's more like I've lost all interest and feel indifferent/neutral to the whole thing. Right there with ya on the whole season indifference. I'm still watching House more or less regularly, SVU now and then, Medium, Bones and a handful of others. I was hooked hard on Spartacus but that's in hiatus while the lead is treated for Nonhodkins Lymphoma. I'm foaming at the mouth for the new season of True Blood--and that's the extent. For the rest, I watch cable shows nonreligiously.

Where is Pixi? Seems like she hasn't posted for awhile. *glances at meter*It's true. The Perk quotient is WAY down.

"So you like show tunes. Doesn't mean you're gay. It just means you're awful." "Yeah, you know what? I checked out of this conversation about a minute back. So, uh, good luck with your troubles and I'm gonna make it a habit not to stop to talk to students 'cause this has been a colossal waste of my time." There needs to be more scenes between Kurt and Sue Sylvester! They are awesome together!! Kurt made me tear up a few times this ep. He is the break out star of the show. Screw Rachel and Finn.

envy Yellow Ladies Slippers... sigh Julia, never once seen them in the wild, although they're supposed to grow places I've been I wonder if they'll still be flowering when we go to the Arboretum in a few weeks . . . . So pretty! Gorgeous shots, Sara! Also? Puck and Mercedes singing "That's Why the Lady is a Tramp"? Damn! I loved the duet! I might buy it from iTunes. I totally did not buy them dating, however. I have heard that the actor who plays Puck hates having the faux hawk, so I wonder if this is the last we shall see of it???

I mean to post this earlier. A view of my home away from home - looking back to the 18th hole from the fairway on 15 at Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Course. <snip> Gorgeous!! I can see why you spend so much time there.

Where is Pixi? Seems like she hasn't posted for awhile. She's been around Twitter and LJ, so she's doing fine and stressing about the SPN finale, much like myself.

Exciting S'cubie news on the Admin thread! Karen -- nice golf course. Haven't seen Glee yet, but post away -- that way I'll know what to watch for! Yeah, I record a lot of TV but if I was pushed to the wall none of it is MUST see. Although if I had to list my top 5, NCIS would be there. Even with lame murders of the week. I just like all of the characters so much! Re last night's episode, comment about plot point re 5 season arc. Not strictly a spoiler, since it has aired. Abby got invited to do a seminar on forensics in Mexico. She was given a cold case to go over. Turned out it was the murder of a Mexican drug dealer --- the one who killed Gibbs' wife and daughter. Abby has matched the bullet with Gibbs' sniper rifle. Quite a scene with him in his basement. Also -- seems he no longer building boats -- last night he was making a chair.

Also, did I mention that Joe Flanigan and Christian Kane are in a movie together (with Hal Holbrook for the sprinkles atop!)?
Julia, oh so very pretty, there
