Well, I added the hot dog cart thing to this . . . I think it needs some other accessory . . . Hee! I love it! Hmmm...how about some brakelight accessories - jewelry or a scarf? Brakelights are what I think of when I see all the traffic in the streets of New York.

Runway!
Michael - Pretty. Sexy. Easy. Too easy? Too simple? The only wow is the back, really. Otherwise it seems just like a nice dress. I like the slit and the flow, but it's perhaps a bit too "sexed up caftan" to impress the judges.
Gretchen - I like this, actually. The skirt is pretty (although I'm not sure about the under-neath animal print thing she was showing before). The jacket is ok, but I don't totally love the back. The top is nice, but plain. Gretchen is (unusual for her) rather insightful when she say the model is totally working it, but that it is not really very "runway".
Andy - I like this. He totally improved it by removing the floral thing on the shoulder. I do like the "wet" looking fabric and the back straps things are kinda cool.
Mondo - Not actually one of my faves he's done - I miss the color. Not that I don't like the dress, because I do. But it's not quite as completely wowing me as some of his other items.
April - OK, I know it's like everything she's ever done, and also I know that the all black is making it hard as hell for me to appreciate the details on it, but I do like this. The unusual bodice and sleeves and neckline and so on are really rather cool.
Now to post before the judging!

OK, a touch of the brake-light look at the wrists, and voila - does she say, New York, New York, or what??

Judging! Mondo - proved color isn't his crutch, love the patent leather, like that he dealt with something architectural, full of joy, phenomenal, chic, love the mix of textiles.
Andy - they don't see how it reflects central park (because basically he dumped that and just made a nice dress, so yeah, I agree with that judgment), but the dress is beautifully crafted, fits great, like the shine and the lines of it, perfect little black dress for the edgy girl, stunning.
Gretchen - Confused, lost your steam, doesn't look uptown or downtown, rock and roll secretary, doesn't look like her, like that it's wearable, jacket is cool but blouse and skirt are too "off the rack", they think she is "better than this".
April - the sameness is numbing (well, it was time, I guess, to call her on this), pregnant witch, didn't step outside her comfort zone, missed opportunity, not showing her range, like the cut and is interesting, looks like you, but could have gone further.
Michael - Beautifully cut and draped, impressed with the back, love the way it moves, love the super-high slit.
Who's showing and who's going?
Michael is in! Mondo is in! Andy is in! Gretchen is in! And that means April is out. Very interesting final results!

OK - here's a start . . . what to do to "WOW" this . . ?? Not too literal! I missed so much due to post-op issues that are most uncomfy. Better now, though. The Taxi dress or maybe I should call it the Taxi Dancer dress is wonderful. I was blown away by the episode because I thoughtn for sure Gretche n would be the one sent home. Great show, I thought. Took a pain pill. Feeling loopy now. Will go to bed very soon. Right after Austin & Santino. Mayve shower in moring.

This is interesting. I', from New York and I think you caught the essense of the museum/central park district. I half expect her to pull out a hot dog or a bag of hot roasted chestnuts (the treat I've never found anywhere else in the world.) I'm rambl,y. Hydrocodone does that you know. If this makes sense to me tomorrow I'll be surprised. Okay, ramblies over for now. Maybe.
