Can they do it? Will this post jinx them? ETA. Nope..no jinx...they stopped them. 3 minutes left....newbie quarterback....last touchdown took 80 seconds.......let's tie it up! Oh, Karen, your hope was lovely to see -- if temporary. My nephew is going to be devastated but I still have the Pittsburgh nephew in the hunt. Jim's sisters live one in Chicago and one in Pittsburgh. If the Jets win we will have a cloud of gloom over our heads. At least they gave them a run there at the end. Couple of questionable calls and they kind of folded. I think they will sell more tickets and bets if it's Packer/Steelers...so....I think that's the way it'll go. Hopeful, yet cynical...

It would have been quite the Rocky story but the interception was almost predictable. If only the Bears defense had been more effective in the first quarter.

On TV? Hmmm......I like the girl who played Zoe on Caprica, but she's probably too young. Carisma Carpenter is probably too old. I see Bridget Regan's name being mentioned. She does have the right look. the new Wonder Woman? How about Sarah Lancaster from Chuck? She has the look. Or Erica Durance - Lois from Smallville, although I doubt if they'd use her since she's been so visible as Lois. Actually, Gloria from Modern Family would make an awesome Wonder Woman. She certainly has the body for the costume. www.sofiavergara.com/

I can haz new keyboard: $45 cheaper than the last one, and it only needs two batteries instead of three.
Julia, also five hawks on the way up and back to the Apple store.

Hey ho, all! Lovely time at the Orchestra last night, where they did a semi-staged production of The Magic Flute, to finish off the Mozart mini-fest. Such lovely lovely music! Also? Puppets!

Quick hi to all!
ERIN: Love the opener.
Sorry about the Bears, Karen.
I have spent the whole day working on our local NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) website. WHEW!
I'm going to be putting a "google search" on the site - as a non-profit, we can get it ad-free and at no cost. It sounds simple, and it was . . . once I got past a lot of confusing reading. Anyhow, I put the search engine on a "draft home page" for our director to look at and make sure he is OK with.
I am also talking to him about updating our DONATION info . . . which currently tells you where to send a check.
And I re-did the way we list some things- anyhow it took hours upon hours, but it should be good when it is all in place.

Firefox users:
Is there a way to tell it to ask me before it updates? I don't use it that much, and everytime I go to open it, it gives me this "updating" notice without asking me "now or later?" So then it takes 3 minutes to open.
I'm just wishing it would ask me before it updates, so I can "defer" the updates when I'm in a hurry. I poked around but could not find a setting for it.
NEVER MIND: I found it! Yay!
