Snow. Not much of it, but still: cold, slippery, and requiring the shoes that involve leaning over to lace them.
On the other hand, less than two inches of snow, on warm ground: north of Seattle they're talking over a foot before the system passes. So there is that.

In response to your Kindle wiggins: That's awesome! So, what are you saying? That I shouldn't be afraid to embrace the Kindle as we humans will always find a better way to store the knowledge? It's just that..I don't know, the electronic books seem more fragile and content\access controllable than paper books. Plus, they smell funny. Electronic books ARE more fragile! My friend the archivist could bore you to tears with tales of the fallibility of digital media. TEARS.

And he hinted at possible snow in San Fran for the first time in 30 years.

Julia, also, it's too dark to wear sunglasses, and my eyelids do not like the whole wind-chill thing.
