Hello, Diane. I've been meaning to ask, what's with the new prefix? New physical location, or more emotional and spiritual? Nope. Just going on vacation. Going to LA to Paleyfest next week. Sounds fun. Hope you have a wonderful trip.

Today we celebrated Go Texan Day. That's the opening to Rodeo season. We all dressed up in our best cowboy gear and had a chili cookoff. I am not feeling well at all.

CAUTION! BLAKE'S 7 TELEPORT BRACELETS! DO NOT OBEY LICENCES UNLESS YOU MEASURE TOASTED APES
The RSG is spot on, except I can't find a toaster big enough for the apes to fit in.

Sharky -
I put another link re Tim (article in Atlantic Monthly) on the admin thread.
I liked it because it's mostly just Tim answering questions without it being a story "about" him.

Not sure what kind of hosts they will be for the Oscars but the promo spots with James Franco and Anne Hathaway are certainly entertaining.
Personally I think the hosts are dependent upon the writers and besides, isn't the spotlight supposed to be on the MOVIES and the people who are nominated/winning.

heh heh
9F official overnight low in Olympia, record low temps up and down the West coast and interior. Looked at the Pacific Coast Satellite and there are fingers of icy air blowing out of the interior and down all the rivers into the ocean: looks like a very art deco lond of fringe.
Stupid weather.
Julia, 64F in this room, ugh.
