The flowers and butterflies could be in the veil! Caught! In the mesh! And then the birds can swoop down on her and eat them!! It would be like a savage nature, captured in artistic fashion!! WE'D BE SO CUTTING EDGE YOU COULD HURT YOURSELF! It would be awesome! ;D ;D ;D Sweet Savage Love is one of my favorite trash books. I almost forgot PRA again!

OK - we made some additions . . . we need something for head and feet . . . The skirt is too blah. It needs to be shorter or longer. The shoes ought to be a different color at least. Maybe you can put flowers on them?

Maybe you can put flowers on them? Maybe a border of tulips along the bottom of the skirt to break up the longness of it?

And a big straw floppy hat with some kind of embellishments.
Like bunnies!

Roxanne and I definitely agreed on the "blahness" of the dress, but didn't have time to do much more than add a few more butterflies . . . so here we go:

I love Roxanne's smiley faces. I wish they could be incorporated into the outfit because she's obviously meant to be here. But the hat! The hat absolutely ROCKS! Can you dress up the hem of the dress at least?

Runway time! Spring Austin - yeah, it's a bit old-money hamptons-y looking, but it is very pretty too. Like a picnic with the Howell's kind of outfit. Kara - looks a bit more modern - I like the colors and the clean look of it - perhaps a bit too simple, but it does have a nice easy feel. I give this one to Kara, just for the colors and freshness. Summer Kenley - very cute - a romper-shorts kind of outfit. I like the color and pattern, very young and fresh. I might have liked it a bit more if it wasn't all the same fabric. And I'm getting a bit tired of the Peter Pan collar. Mondo - Very cute as well. I like the floaty top and the shorts are adorable. Very Mondo. I give it a slight edge over Kenley's, just because of the different fabrics. Autumn Rami - love love love the blue, but I think the over-blouse-jacket thing itself is a bit too much fabric. I disagree with Mila's thought that the colors are bad together, but I do agree there is too much volume. Pants are nice enough. Mila - I love a good cape, damn! Very Autumnal, very sharp. Love the red/orange color with it. Pants are nice enough. Slight edge to Mila, for me. Winter Jerell - now I really do love his look this episode. The patterns and the shape and the coat and the cardigan. The whole outfit together is just very nice. I'd totally love to have this whole thing! Michael - I really like this too. They do have a similar vibe and thus I love both outfits. The cape/sweater thing and the patterns and so on. I can't pick between them! Shall I just pick Jerell because I think he probably did do it first? Or leave it a tie for me because I like both complete outfits? (I'm a total sucker for winter wear, I admit. Love that stuff!) Posting to hear what the judges say.

Roxanne and I definitely agreed on the "blahness" of the dress, but didn't have time to do much more than add a few more butterflies . . . so here we go: Hey, you created a swarm! That's spring time. At least it is for monarch butterflies. In the spring they migrate. It's much more interesting now.

Roxanne and I definitely agreed on the "blahness" of the dress, but didn't have time to do much more than add a few more butterflies . . . so here we go: Brava, brava, bravi! Very very very lovely! I love the placement of them, like they're flying around her in a kind of living ribbon - so pretty!

Judging! I was amazed. I really thought Austin would go because of the kiss-of-death word "boring" but Rami's really ugly blouse, I guess, was what got him. 'Bye Rami.

Jumping on the Lost Girl wagon - thanks for the heads-up, Lola! Very Buffy-like. And it's got some funny in it. Anyone watching the US Being Human? That's another good SyFy series. Not much funny in it, tho. I checked out Spielberg's "The River" the other night. I guess I will give it at least a few more eps, but it seemed too "Lost" - like to me. Although I am somewhat intrigued with the river, itself. Guess it is supposed to be the Amazon? Mostly I'm just waiting for The Avengers to hit the big screen. Joss was able to have total control over the editing/etc.
