Speaking of fashion. I bought a jar of Mary Kay mineral powder foundation that completely covers all the old lady sun spots, but isn't drying and looks natural and moist. I've been looking for something that doesn't melt off my face for AGES!!!! And the color even matches my neck. Always a plus.

Austin's collection! * OK, I can't believe I'm saying this, but the bright pink-red satin oddly shaped wide-hipped jodhpur short-legged pantsuit thing with a sparkly black short jacket? Is actually kinda cool looking. * Shiny black lace short party dress. Very fun and kicky, has a nice edge to it. And I'm kinda digging the Victorian/hasidic hybrid hairdos. * Black leather pencil skirt w/pink blouse. Nice enough, and then she turns around and there's like .... a pink net-tulle bit of fluff coming out of the back slit. Um. It should either not be there or should have been more excessive. This little puff just looks odd. * Oooooh! Very gorgeous gorgeous red carpet dress!! Red/pink with black pattern, shiny but not cheap looking, very interesting construction. Ooooh, pretty! * Black leather (or leatherette) jumpsuit. Very cat-woman, but with another pinkish netting puff at the neck. Hmmm. * Wedding dress for the finale! Very very very pretty. Lovely large petal-like fabric on the bodice and top of skirt, with a netting/tulle full skirt below and touches of black to make it more edgy. Very cool! A "very Austin" collection.

Love the red! How Freudian...or is it Jungian?

"Signature Michael dress" as in...slit down to the navel. Blech.

Austin's collection is very unusual, but works. Love the wedding dress, especially. The petal-like fabric makes it look like a flower. So cool.
Now to fast forward to Mondo's.

After Austin's, Mondo's was a bit bland. Too careful/conservative? Actually, it surprised me how 'normal' it looked.
