Judging timez ....
I'd have been cool with several of these folks winning, and am fine with their choice.
Auf'er? Not a surprise and it's been a long time coming.

Don't agree with the judges. Those poopy pants were the worst thing I've seen on the runway in a long time.

OK, I added the torch on her head! I love it! The fire goes with the firey shoes. It brings in the Olympics and it keeps the sun off. Perfect. Spectacular, spectacular!

OK, I added the torch on her head! I love! She looks like she could set the world on fire... in the good way. Those shoes and the torchiere chapeau. Very Olympic!!

Runway time! Kate - I like it, love the colors and the angles/lines, the jacket is great! Bradon - Oooooh, I really really love this one. A tiny bit of fit issue, perhaps, but gorgeous!! Alexandria - Not loving the drop crotch, but I really like everything else. Helen - Jacket is very cool, love the model's attitude, rest of the outfit is a bit basic. Dom - Has a lot of similarity to the things I liked about Kate's, the colors and lines. Jacket is more fluid,it's cooler and hipper than Kate's, but I don't like the back of the shirt underneath. Justin - Very nice. Simple, but nicely done. Like the crop/bra top. Kind of baaic. Ken - Nice, if rather ordinary. Like the back straps. Jeremey - Very basic, again. Karen - I actually like this, very yoga/comfy. Also very basic and polain. Alexander - Very nice construction, very nice! Outfit is classic, but nicely done. I did love Kate's. Definitely would buy that - love the mix of textures and the color. Orangey red - my fav. Alexander's is very cool too. Different. Love the charcoal color and asymetrical jacket. But agree with Nina - didn't like where he cut off the blocking in the pants. Ken - pretty basic and nothing visual to break up the shirt in front. Alexandria - Don't like it. Looks like a cat ripped the shirt in the sewing room. lol -"pleasure me pockets" - oh, Michael- you are bad!! Karen - She should've stuck with her other look. At least she would've went out with a bang, if she does go, instead of a fugly fizzle. Helen - I like the longer jacket.

I want to apologize, I miss posted the link earlier to this board here by accident. I've moved the link over to the open topics forum. I lost track of which board I had open. Again, I apologize if I upset anyone.

So, a friend posted a meme on Facebook, asking people to pick the book nearest to them, turn to page 45; the first full sentence on that page describes your life. I got: "And it's a fate much worse than death or mayhem." Are the fates just having a go at me, or is my generally pessimistic outlook correct all along? (Also? The book was "Inside Joss' Dollhouse." Make of that what you will.)

I just grabbed a book with reach (Best American Short Stories 1998), and here is the first full sentence: "But a successful bluff is best not proclaimed, particularly one that you guess has been aided by the kibitzer behind your back." Hmmm . . . my life as a "successful bluff?" Maybe.
