Which part? I'm assuming that you might mean the "Eleven" is "Thirteen" thing? LOl! Yep. We can start there. . .. OK, well, apparently, Moffat has decided to count both the "War Doctor," who fits in between Eight (the Doctor Who movie with Paul McCann) and Nine (Eccleston, of course) and 10.2 (the human/Time Lord hybrid on parallel Earth with Rose). So, Nine is Ten, Ten is Eleven, 10.2 is Twelve, which makes Eleven into Thirteen, and therefore completely out of regenerations... Clara, in order to prevent Eleven (Thirteen) from dying completely, goes to the crack in the wall, which apparently currently holds Gallifrey in a pocket universe, and begs the Time Lords to prevent him from dying. At the last moment, they do, gifting him with additional regenerations. Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey...

I lose so much watching and multitasking online. Plus, there are whole swaths of seasons I've not been able to catch up on. . ..
