**bounces up and down** She was working for Fury!! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!! Man, this is gonna be a tense ep, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make a lot of notes as I watch ‘cuz I feel like just going for the ride!! Hydra! Inside the Hub … attacking the school ….. who can be trusted …. Eeeep! No way is Fury dead – they lie! Right? Don’t hurt Lola as you battle on the plane!! Um. Share unwavering loyalty to Hydra or be killed …. Ah! But it was a test! Seemed too un-hydra to be counting on loyalty, actually. But why was she wanting to kill them all? Does she think they were all in on it?! ‘Cuz, dude, no way! Yeah, tell ‘em, Simmons – Coulson is NOT a baddie! He’s just unconventional! I dunno – this “Ward really loves Skye” thing is coming out of thin air. Seems odd, to me. Damn, Ward, that’s some hella fighting! SHIELD’s soul, yeah, listen to Coulson – don’t kill if you don’t have to. OMG, OMG, OMG! Garrett! Hail Hydra. Whoa! “Phil, this is me being honest.” Yeah, right. Whoa! Whoa! Holy fuck! Ward?!?! DAMN! What’s in your head, Ward? That was an odd look on his face as he zoned out, sorta. Is he actually a triple agent, going undercover in Hydra? Ok, that was one hell of an ep!

Holy motherflippin' crap!!!! From what I've read (and had explained to me by more Marvel-knowledgeable people), this episode is what the season has been working toward, but they couldn't really telegraph it very much without spoiling the new Captain America film...

beccaelizabeth.dreamwidth.org/2712636.htmlreview of this episode, with some reference to Cap 2 because that fits in here my reaction to this episode is mostly trying to figure out what we know for sure now, and coming up confused in the interesting way, the trust no one, we're in a spy movie now way so this is going to be fun. I still like Coulson best, he seems to be the best of what SHIELD believed itself to be. I am relieved we get to keep liking May. ... if Ward is in fact proper evil now, I won't exactly miss him.
