eg, excellent and thoughtful review!
Your statement that Cordelia's corruption corrupts the entire group, and your pointing out that she had been the moral center of the group - of course! And why hadn't I thought of those things? Thanks for the insights.
I also enjoyed your pointing out that Angel had pushed everything that was Angelus aside, even those things in Angelus that would strengthen Angel.
One thing you said puzzles me - it was about Wesley. You said he had been a murderous misogynist. When was he that? I also disagree he was a traitor, but I know that opinion is going to be just opinion, not probably worth debating. But I think I've forgotten what he did that was murderously misogynistic.
Good job, eg!

Great review, eg. The corruption of Cordelia representing the corruption of the group was particularly interesting and points to the possible (probable?) corruption theme for next season.
I have only one incy-wincy request for all reviewers and that is to have the title number in the heading. I am not an AtS fan and I find it difficult to remember the titles for each season. I figured out which epiode was under discussion very quickly, but I would have liked to have known from the beginning that the episode was from the last season of AtS etc. However, this is basically a request for spoon-feeding and people can feel free to ignore it.
Once again, thanks for the review - it was enlightening and I am looking forward to reading more of your reviews.

I get this mental image of Cordelia as a miniature negative sun, sending out rays of evil at the center of the Hyperion. I don't have much more to say about it because this was not one of my favorite arcs in AtvS. I second the motion for a reference to a seasonal reference in the subject line with all BUFFY/AtvS reviews. I love both shows, but don't remember all the titles. I do remember the seasons fairly well, especially BUFFY Seasons 5-7. Gail

Thanks, eg, for such a well-thought out review.
I love this part. I think the same can be said of many of the Jossverse characters. But Angel particularly exemplifies how accepting yourself, and your perceived weaknesses and strengths, is so important.
Good review - alot of food for thought!

Good job, eg! Wow, I'm all red! Thanks everyone. Patti: The "murderous misogynist" reference was to the episode "Billy" in Season 3, where Wesley stalked Fred throughout the hotel. Although it lasted only one episode, it really shook up Wesley's concept of and trust in himself to know he had that in him to do, and led him down his eventual path for the rest of that season.
