MENTION OF CONTENT OF NEW DRESDEN NOVEL -- WARNING
Discussion is good.
Speculation is good. So many ways to explain - resolve Changes' ending.
Too spoilerish is bad.
[I'd be sad if I knew for sure there would never be more to look forward to: the waiting and anticipation and the disappointment... but time answers that question eventually!]
As for the 1st line of the book, the prepublication blurb last fall -now on the book jacket - took care of that non-surprise.

Well, this is what I'm trying to define.
Say, for example, there is a link from the Jim Butcher Wikipedia entry that leads to
an entry that answers one of these speculations. [Which appears to be factual.
And maybe it's tied to a pre-order up at Amazon.
Is that too spoilerish?

Now, I don't consider these things to be spoilerish with regard to content (nothing at ALL like the blurb about Susan's bombshell) and because they are out there they function, in my mind, sort of parallel to previews of next week's episode. But I know some people even avoid those previews.
But the things I have in mind are not spoilerish (with regard to plot points) previews but then again just the (possible) existance of a preview implies something -- along the lines of when they said "Lost has 2 more seasons" -- was that a spoiler? It implied that the final episode of Season 3 was not the END.
ARGH.
Well, then, when I get around to posting my links I'll put a spoiler warning on them and let people decide whether to go there or not.
In the meantime, if anybody wants to IM me about what I'm trying to dance around, feel free. No plot details, just vague general stuff about the (possible) future/or not of the series.
I'm ok with your spoiler examples, although I'm sure that some might not be.

I often find pre-order listings at my library or
at Amazon. My reservation in january is how I got to be the 2nd on the list for Changes at my library!
