More with Gunn! Thinks he's still a good guy? Er, with much hitting... and killing... okaaaaay... Angel annoyed at Wes Angel going to see Connor And he's all 'what took you so long' And, er, wolfgirl being... odd. Spike! In red pyjamas. With many many many girls. Yeah, that's hell for him, I can see that... Illyria! Spike her pet! Heee! So, still with the raising questions then. ... comics so slooooow. We're up to like the middle of the episode and it took weeks.

Kinda annoyed that Spike didn't really get any good licks in with Angel, getting knocked down by Angel instead. That seems a bit off from the show because they were pretty evenly matched nearing the end. Wondering how Gunn thinks he's still a good guy, but I guess it's not too far-fetched. I've always wondered if those sired by Angel and Company retain a piece of their souls for some reason. Assuming, that is, he was sired by either Angel or Spike. I tend to think he was.

First, I have to just say, squeee!! I mean, Spike! And not just that, but Spike as prisoner with benefits Illyria’s pet!!!!!! Also? Ilyria!!!! Yay!! So happy. So very very happy! OK. Now to babble about the rest of it. First, they’re doing a good job of showing us the confusion and chaos that is Hell!L.A. now. The chain of “I’m the Lord of Westwo. . . “ – chomp! was nicely succinct. I do really love the scenes between Connor and Angel. “Wow. Just. That paints a big-ass target on my head, doesn’t it?” And “I mean, this is literally the second time I punched his ticket to hell, not many fathers can say that.” And “ ‘Get your dragon.’ You are getting weirder and weirder.” I continue to be worried about Gunn. Vamped and bitter about it, he appears to believe he is working for the good. And is likely walking the same difficult tightrope as many of our characters. (With folks like poor telepathic giant non-watery fish George paying the price, apparently. I find it interesting that he is actually following more of Spike’s journey than Angel’s - what with the no soul having thing while still, again apparently and in his own defiinition, being a good guy. And call me kooky, but could he be just as responsible for the damage that Angel felt was due to Ilyria? And was the glowy ball thing that he and the other moster pile had the Eye of Ramras that Angel was nattering on about? Or is that something else? I’m worried about Wes too. In the brief bits we’ve seen of him so far, I’m finding him amusing and heartbreaking and intriguing. “I’ll stay here and haunt the fort.” Finally, Spike! All bloody hail. ;D Still loving to brag, lounging about with his blood fountain (Lord of Beverly Hills **snicker snerk**, of course!) and his adoring flock, still snarking at Angel and working his way up the ranks. **more snickering** So, overall I’m really liking this comic and story. But I gotta say, what’s with the outfits on the women? Nina and Gwen look just alike, other than color. What, did the apocalypse provide uniform costuming or something?

More with Gunn! Thinks he's still a good guy? Er, with much hitting... and killing... okaaaaay... Yeah. Annoyed, or maybe also guilty feeling, so that's why he can't stand to spend time with him? 'Cuz it's very Angel to, well, to kind of take it out on the person you feel bad about hurting. Odd, yes. Stress? Or more? Heee! He's always been even more of a survivor / thriver than Angel. I often wonder how Angel would have responded to being chipped . . . Sooooo sloooooow! Makes it tempting to just wait for them to come out in book form . . . . but at the same time, that's even longer to wait!

Or is he laying low, perhaps? I also wondered if he was just kicking back a bit until Ilyria stepped in. Exactly the kind of things I've been wondering about!!

Been re-reading the earlier issues as I endure the long wait for the next one. Still laugh out loud at Spike's noble tale. ;D Wondering how Gunn thinks he's still a good guy, but I guess it's not too far-fetched. I've always wondered if those sired by Angel and Company retain a piece of their souls for some reason. Assuming, that is, he was sired by either Angel or Spike. I tend to think he was. I really can't picture Angel or Spike siring Gunn. Spike especially knows siring people you like ends badly (lies my parents told me). Gunn would not have wanted to be a vampire; I don't think either of them would have done that to him. I've also just realised something (other people may have already noticed this). Spoilers up to issue 4: When Spider says Angel "reeks of magic" it's due to the glamour.
