Maybe it's just me, Patti, but the crash diet seems to be working. You look like you lost 20 lbs. to me. Wow! If it were only that easy in real life! I just realized that the reason it looked 'the same' to me is that I was comparing it with the other pics of me on the page, and it changed all of them, even the old posts. So....a 'duh' moment for me. Goodnight, now.

So....a 'duh' moment for me. Goodnight, now. Yeah, it took me a while to figure that out when I first started posting pictures a while back, and even still, when I went in to adjust the picture I'm using now, I did find myself wanting to compare it to the "old" pictures to see the difference, which there was none, of course. Because like you, it changed every picture on every one of my posts. I do sort of wish that it didn't change everything like that across the board. If for no other reason than I'd like to have proof that I once really was a Master S'Cubie, even if it did only last five minutes before Vlad took the designation out of the system (or raised the bar for a Master S'cubie, which is yet to be seen).

It has possibilities. Vlad should reinstate that one. Maybe there could be oil of some kind...

I'm playing with my picture. Watch out for this, Patti. I'm told if you keep doing this, you could go blind....

I found this as part of an ew.com interview with Joss that's on a page for subcribers only. I wasn't sure about the ethics of copying and pasting the whole interview but this was too interesting, especially in light of the past week's discussions of Buffy's true feelings for Spike vs. Angel, to pass up.
At long last, Angel is returning to the show. How does that affect Buffy's ongoing love-hate relationship with Spike? I wanted to make definite statements about both relationships, but I had to do it in the same episode. It was weird. I had to do a lot of structural juggling to figure out how to make emotional sense of the two most important men in Buffy's life showing up at once. So neither of them can deal with the fact of the other one, and Buffy just tries to get through the goddamn day. My qualms became their qualms, because these characters should feel oddly torn. And I think audiences will have many different reactions to what happens.
That's a bit of an understatement, don't you think?

Yellow, with white pages, is definitely of the good.
However, the orange type against yellow or green is just about illegible (as in the little "flags" at the top of the composing screen, to the left and the poster's name, to the left of each completed post).
Can we do anything about the orange type? Make it red, maybe?
A good beginning, though, and it's nice to have you back! You were missed, during the ScoopMe outage last weekend, although I hope you had more fun than hair-tearing us.

Title says it all... look in the upper right hand portion of the board window next to the Soulful spike society logo for a link to your message box, in case you dont know where to find it.

My Spike picture is prettier than YOUR Spike picture! However, I'll find something else to change to and let you have Spike, because you're the boss around here. No! keep your spike pic... I only use this persona when administrating the board... when I am "posting" , I use my "Vlad" one with a different pic.

See, this is the one I use when I am a normal, mild mannered S'cubie. *L*

because I have to fix the Welcome scroll.. the text can't be read now... *sighs and chuckles*
And of course, now' I'll have to come up with a different Soulful Spike Society logo for our heading as the red and white one that we started with just looks atrocious with this color scheme. But I'll do that later.. I have IMPORTANT S'cubie stuff to attack, like the posting of fiction and analyses....
I did enjoy reading most of the posts during the ScoopMe blackout... seems like most of you got pretty familiar with the new board. *smile*

Yeah, when we weren't panicking. But I think most people and the newboard got on quite well.
However, Patti hasn't managed to get a picture consistently posted for her profile. Some people can see it, but most can't. I wonder why that is....
All I see, for instance, is a broken link symbol.

yeah, that's all I am getting also(in regards to her picture)....might have soemthing to do with from where she is linking.
Hmmm, well it looks like I pretty well managed to capture ScoopMe's color scheme as best I could considering the two boards arent identical in layout.
We'll let this oen go for a bit and see if the masses arent happier with it.

I hadn't noticed the changing news ticker before.
That is NEAT!

One way to see a whole page at a glance is to go into "reply/posting" mode. However, the subject lines don't come too--only who wrote the post and the post itself.
Several people commented that this feature was nice, but they missed the subject line to be able to follow an idea from post to post (for instance).
Is it in any way possible to include the subject lines in the page of posts one sees down below the composition screen in "reply/posting" mode?

I dont think so Nan, but I will go take a peek again at the various toggle options I have. I may simply not remember such an option because I was looking for something else at the time, mentally tagged it as "irrellevant", and ignored it.
