I am not saying it well.
Okay..clearly... Lee.. you qualify for "Marster's Scubie". In fact, I am reserving that for you... unless you decide on somethig else... send me a pm notifiying me that you want to be officially recognized as that and I will immediately change it...
Concerning the old timers errr..founder's designation... I havent looked at the records yet... i can tell you some of hte names of the top of my head, but not all...so i won't till I am sure.. and it would only allow you to add "founder" behind your status, be it n'ubie, s'cubie, or self chosen "poobah of all I see in Spikeland"...

I was watching the Temptations, a movie about the music group filmed in 1998, and both Gunn and Principle Wood were in the movie (with D.B. actually one of the stars). It's a good movie, and funny to see D.B. with hair!

Okay, I see you guys did fiugure out what i was saying. Unfortunately Lee logged off..sigh... I will change her to "Marster's S'cubie" and if she wants to change to something else, i will alter it for her.
I would like people to try to pick a title they will stick with, however. I don't want to be bombarded with requests all the time "Vlad, I thought of this new cute title .. could you change me again please."
Actually, i do believe that Rae and Dave can also change titles.. if so, then it won't matter as much *eyes twinkling*

Actually, the author seemed so completely full of blind, acidic HATRED for Spike, that I felt maybe she needed a reality check. FICTIONAL character...TELEVISION show. I mean, I consider myself obsessed, but still... I felt kinda sorry for her, that she's let her hatred of this character eat at her so. Mary I referred to it as "vitriolic" in a post the other day. She has interpreted everything that Spike has ever done in the worst possible way. In the beginning of her article I found myself actually agreeing with a number of her early points, or at least being able to understand how she could reasonably intrerpret them the way she was (don't remember which right now, but I remember thinking, 'Oh, this isn't so bad'). But then as she went on finding nothing but fault with everything he did I became quite distressed. One of the reasons that he is for me, such a compelling character is his shades of grey, his very real flaws and the very realistic path he followed from remorseless killer to savior of the world, a journey replete with misteps and pitfalls. Spike was never a two dimensional villian or hero. He has always been about shades of grey. All the Buffy characters are flawed, that's what makes them all so true to life. But Tanya does not see a single shred of decency, goodness or worth in Spike. Yeah, of course she has the right to spew her hate against Spike or any other character she chooses but I don't mind telling you reading them gave me a whopping case of indigestion and heartache. At first I was hoping that someone would rebut her rebuttal, point by point. But after further consideration I really question whether the kind of blind hate that she demonstrated in her article should be dignified with a serious rebuttal. I mean, I know it's only a fictional character in a TV show but if we were talking about RL her article, as far as I'm concerned, smacks of revisionist history and as such does not deserve to be seriously discussed or debated. For example, the last thing I would watch on TV or the last book I would buy would feature a revisionist historian arguing that the holocaust never happened. I know that's an extreme comparison but I think the principle seems the same here. I suspect many of you won't agree with me but I am of this mind because her article was so extreme in her complete and utter condemnation of Spike. This post has been hastily thought out and badly written because I am running late for an appt and should have left the office 15 minutes ago. I may delete this tomorrow. But for now, what the hell.

Vlad, I appreciate your clarifying for me the distinction between (1) choosing a Master S'cubie name and (2) the Founder designation.
I was lumping the two together and so was fairly incoherent in writing about it/them.
MUCH clearer now. Only those from the bad old days and the founding of the S3/All Things James Marsters thread are gonna be Founders. Which I understand, since it was my distress and walk-out from the BtVS ep board that was in part why Alexandra made that wonderful first place for us to gather togther in Spike-tolerant harmony and community.[/color]
