Saw this on Zap2It:
"TBS Superstation has acquired the off-net rights to HBO's popular and Emmy-winning comedy "Sex and the City." The slightly sanitized weekly doses of "Sex" will premiere on TBS in June of 2004."
(I didn't copy the whole article)
Slightly sanitized?! TBS is going to have to do a lot more than "slightly sanitize" the show - I adore "SATC" but I don't see how you can show it on TBS and not just completely ruin the show. To me, it wouldn't be worth it on TBS - they would have to cut out SO much stuff, it would be pointless to watch it (in my opinion).

In about 45 minutes, I'm gonna see episode 1:1 for the VERY FIRST TIME. I had a near heart-attack thinking it'd been on yesterday and I'd missed it. But today's the day. And on auspicious Wednesday, we get In The Dark!! With Snarky Spike! Yea! [/color]

"Nip/Tuck" on FX has been showing quite a bit of *unsanitized* shots, I wouldn't be surprised that they wouldn't have to edit SATC that much.

I can't wait to hear what you thought of it. I loved the opening episode. I was a "virgin" watcher of Jossverse when I saw it.

I was busily typing a post and then boom! Too bad for you, doors are locked, and look your post is gone too!
Fine, I'm not telling you all about the nice video I was watching.
*goes off to pout in corner*

miss b,
Something you said about being a 'hopeless romantic' got me thinking about BTVS S6 and S7. I think romance is what was missing during both of those seasons (I know - way late on my comment to earlier posts).
Altho, Buffy and Spike were hot together in S6, and tender toward each other in S7, I missed the romance of Angel/Buffy and for that matter, Tara/Willow, Willow/Oz, Cordelia/Xander, Xander/Anya, Giles/Jenny. Even Buffy-bot/Spike and Buffy/Spike in Something Blue. Even the Scooby gang was romantic in their camaradarie.
Have I missed a significant romance from S6 and S7?
Dave, do you think you were missing the romance and that's the elusive feeling you felt got lost on BtVS's move to UPN?
