I just started thinking about what I hope would be a really funny scene: Spike, Oz, and Xander ducking out on movie (really video) night that features a movie with sex in it (Dawn naturally watches intently), sitting on the porch having a manly bitch session because they're not getting any.
Now all I have to do is write it.

what does this mean? Has Angel s6 already been guaranteed? (I'm guessing no). That's what it appears to be saying, although from all other sources, all I've heard is that it's been picked up for complete seson 5--all 22 eps. Let's keep an eye out on this one and see if it's confirmed anywhere else.

Morning, S'cubies! How is everyone this lovely Veterans Day morning? I'll be popping in and out all day (I can feel your excitement) because apparently I have this thing called a job. Since they pay me, the partners think I should actually do some work. Who's ever heard of such a crazy scheme? I'm working on my response to Diane's Nerd Alert #3 - if you haven't checked it out yet, do it.

I do agree that just feeling guilty doesn't help anyone. It's what we do with that guilt that matters. That's what bothered me so much about Spike's attitude of Nikki's death. He had come to terms with it, but he didn't care about how it still affected the other victim--Robin. Seems to be a very selfish attitude--don't throw things, everyone knows how much I love Spike. He tells Buffy he feels bad about the things he done in the past, but not someone he directly injured. Perhaps it's Spike's way of not being swallowed up by the guilt, but I think he needs to work on that attitude. I know if my mother were murdered it wouldn't matter at all to me if the murderer "came to terms with it". In fact, if the murderer never acknowledged the pain they caused it would make it hurt even worse. Personally, I think that is just David Fury's way of writing Spike. There seems to be something similar to this scenario in every episode he's written... IMO his treatment of Spike is different from everyone else's version of Spike. Yet he sure seems to get to write almost all the 'crucial' Spike episodes (with the possible exception of "Fool For Love").

1. "Eve"--so, there's not enough confusion around here about names (real names vs posting names) without our technopagans turning evil and changing names on us. 2. I've already gotten the "too many connections" message early this morning, so it could be a long day. 3. We know we're going to have to have an interim part to cover today and tomorrow (pre-ep) so why not just start it now? ***SNIP*** Well, I may have turned evil (though, I must point out, you have no proof "Eve" is evil ) but I still hear your plea. I've speeded up construction on the new part and should have it available momentarily. Stay tuned for the "move to that part" message!

And I was guessing Yes, yes, Yes! And Yay! I hope I'm right! But it seems so early! True, the show is doing well, but I didn't think they even start negotations til January or something...and I am so willing to be wrong!

And it would explain a lot. Might be the reason why sometimes we feel that a character isn't quite "on". Maybe Giles in S7. He was written as being burdened with the responsibility of all the girls, but I feel that a lot of the Giles we had come to love was missing.

Thanks for the sassy new avatars! I've swipped the sexy Xander one and put an appropriately slashy comment underneath...I feel all shiny and new.
You rock.

what does this mean? Has Angel s6 already been guaranteed? (I'm guessing no). Don't know, I'm was just posting what Kristen had to say. She's usually fairly correct in the information she puts out. I'm just hoping this is oh so true.

He was written as being burdened with the responsibility of all the girls, but I feel that a lot of the Giles we had come to love was missing. My own, totally outside of canon explanation, is that Giles was involved in a romantic relationship with a female Watcher who was killed by the First's agents before he returned to Sunnydale, and it wore him out emotionally. It might have even been Lydia; stranger things have happened....
