I've finished The Blood Is the Life and it's now gone out to the sites. Thanks to those who came along for the ride and offered comments and encouragement. What'll we find to talk about now? No new eps for another month. Geez! I'm sure there'll be something. It may be meta, but it'll be here. Julia, like, we could discuss Spike's strange experiment with Rileywear in Blood Ties and Crush

Just wanted to mention that I really love the way the new Avatar Alley is organized - makes it much much easier to find stuff.

So, Julia - no more Cammie. Oakland's looking to pick him up. I'm torn about this; I don't want Oakland getting an actual outfielder, but it will mean I'll get to see Cammie play every night.
And the M's are making a play for Miguel Tejada. That could be very cool; Safeco's almost built for that guy.

Yeah, I was going to mention that nobody but Pat Borders was offered salary arbitration; the fact that they are interested in Borders probably means that they're interested in keeping Freddy, since they were working together so well last year. Haven't read the paper yet this morning so I'm going on the brief mention on KUOW- worst thing about listening to NPR is lack of good Sports coverage. Julia, on the other hand there's also the lack of commercials and BS, so I can handle it

Wow, thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! ;D
Diane - I'm so sorry for your family troubles, and I hope you get some coherent news, preferably good, very soon. I'll keep good thoughts for you and yours.
Reeta and Becky - OUCH! Take it easy, both of you!
Cat injury story: Back when our cats were about 4 months old, I turned at the wrong moment, and caught my foot on Shadow, who was rocketing through the kitchen. Fell flat on the tile floor. No serious injuries, but some major bruises and a very scared kitten. After that, I freeze in place when I hear the thunder of cat feet.
Caraleigh - Congrats on your fine picture - that was my original choice, but I HAD to vote for Giles...
Nan - What to talk about? You could always fall back on the tried-and-true "What color are JM's eyes, really?".
" The sort of blue between clouds, when the sun comes out, The sort of blue in those eyes you get hung up about."
That got a lot of mileage last time, not to mention being a fine excuse for much gazing at closeups. "I have to keep looking at these pictures. It's important research!"
Anne, back to putting away groceries before Patches starts sampling the bread

[glow=green,2,300] [/glow] Thanks. I can't believe there have been no politicians knocking on my door, asking me to be their campaign manager and look at that, I figured out how to do multiple quotes.

Also, I saw a picture of JM last night at the KTLA thing, back before the season started, that really made his eyes look blue. I'll have to rack my brain and remember where I saw it.

Well, I found it. I guess it's really not that great of a picture. His eyes are squinty, but for some reason, when I saw it last night, I thought they looked really blue. I should try going to bed before midnight sometime ktla.trb.com/entertainment/wbnetwork/stv-angel-smv-pg,0,437357.photogallery?index=26 There are several pictures of everyone there. Just go to the box that says "26. James Marsters" and click the down arrow.
