Who wouldn't be? Monday's guy is quite straight laced Tuesday's guy has a dimpled face Wednesday's guy has hair that curls, Hell, this island's the dream of all the girls! well, at least you got the score - I hope it was a good one.. Totally not the point, is it? eta: I was trying to quote your post about the pacer's game Vlad. which makes this remark slightly more sensible.

Hi, just been lurking. Just thought that I'd point out that if the experimentation theory works out, we might all ready have evidance of the survivors having been experimented on prior to waking up on the island. Locke's "miracle" anyone? And then crazy French Lady's comment about "Watch them" might mean that people will start acting funny because they've all ready been experimented on, instead of "catching" anything from the island. Could possibly also be why her husband was sick.
I'll go back to lurking now.

Well, it seems weird that she'd be able to kill them all without any of them (assuming there were enough to overpower her) doing something to her in return. Of course, who knows, she's had 16+ years to recover if they did manage to wound her while she killed them. My point was, if they WERE sick, it'd explain why she was able to kill them all. Also, why would the 'others' broadcast that signal for so long... Are they trying to trap others into coming to the island by sending out a signal that they are sure to come check out? Or, is there more to it? She could have picked them off one by one. Robert was well enough to try to shoot her back--remember she said he was suprised that the firing pin had been removed from the gun.

They came back from being down by 17 in the first half to winning by 6 or so. So, happy they won, pissed I missed the game. Vlad

Now I realize it wasn't clever at all and the board was simply saving me from myself. Lola

The only problem I see with it exactly as stated is that I don't believe all of the survivors were unconcious after the wreck. In fact, Kate specifically tells Jack that she was concious the entire time when he mentions he had passed out. Also, the people running about on the beach when Jack got there were very awake, and judging by the still fueled and running turbine, the crash had "just" happened. Now that doesn't mean that the actual crash isn't some sort of false memory planted in their heads to explain their presence on the island; that maybe their airplane was hijacked by aliens fishing a little out of hte way of the Bermuda Triangle, they were experimented on, and then were kept in this place for "observation." I do, hope it's not precisely that, though. Vlad

Would fit with the common theme for the first eps of beginning with a close up of an eye - usually closed and then opening. Showing they all "woke up" after the crash. Now I'm wondering who is gonna start turning into part polar bear. Lola

Better to miss a game they win, than watch a game they lose, though, right? What an optimist! You are one of the beach folk, aren't you? *grin* But yeah, it's pretty much my opinion... 'Course if htey had lost bad, then I woulda been saying "Well, at least I didn't have to see that." Hmmm, I might have to move out to the beach. Vlad

Yes, kind of puts a different spin on his being "sick", doesn't it. Was he just "sick" because he wanted to get away from her? Lola
