I totally agree. Think how much harder it is to act with just your facial expressions! James Marsters was great at that, too. I wish so much he was on this show. The quality is actually worthy of his abilities. Hi Nicki! It's so great to see you posting! Yay! Nicki's here! *hug* Wouldn't it be great if JM at least guest starred? What was it Lola wanted? JM to come running out of the jungle sans clothes and needing comfort? Of course, we'd all just be looking at his great facial expressions, I'm sure. ;D

Wow, really did not guess about Walt burning the raft, but it makes sense and I knew Jin didn't do it--he'd love to see Michael sail away. I did guess about Jin's dad being alive. Makes me really mad that Jin won't start over, it's what they both want and they're in the perfect place for it. His father was a fisherman, so I'm sure he knows something about boat building. I liked Locke's advice to Shannon. Looked like Hurley was doing a car commercial. Jin is the perfect person to help build the boat. Frankly, the perfect person to come along, too. He obviously knows how to fish, so he can help keep them fed on the journey, and I'll bet he knows about sailing / boat travel. They should ask Shannon how much she knows, too. If she had lots of boyfriends who sail, she might have more sailing knowledge than she realizes. Locke was very good and practical with Shannon. You're a big girl, figure out what you want and need to do and get going. I think the whole "everyone gets a new life on the island" thing is gonna turn out to be important. Lola

I think you're wrong. It wouldn't have 'cushioned' the blow to say it in English - it would have been incomprehensible and meaningless. I still think it was said in English so that it wouldn't be lost in translation for us, the viewers. But..we have subtitles!! * Thats what they are there for! I think it was either a poorly conceived device or I am truly missing somehting here. It's very nagging. Vlad * And may I add, quite good subtitles also... notice how they outline hte white letters with the black so that they stand out against any backdrop... I was noticing this tonight and very impressed.

Nahhhh, they did it for me... Abrams has been scoping out our site and realized jsut how terribly annoyed it made me for him to have batteries. I also received an "anonymous" death threat from someone calling themselves "Dancing Mice" that if the reviews didn't resume, I would be served up like so much cold Korean sushi. Vlad LOLOL!!!! Pay attention to that!! LOLOL!!

And...I know what you're thinking about with those subtitles...

I don't notice that anyone has mentioned that Daniel Day Kim was Lila Morgan's rival within Wolfram & Hart, particularly in Season 4, where he got killed and zombified when the Beast decimated the employees there. So another Jossverse alum makes good! Yeah, and he has really made the most of his role on this show, Nan... It's really an ensemble show, although I have to admit that Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid and Locke probably get a little more screen time. It was a great career move for DDK! I think he will get a lot more work out of this... perhaps even a co-starring role in some big screen show sometime. Vlad

Hi Nicki! Haven;t seen you recently. I really didn't like the way they did htat scene, if indeed that's what they were doing. It's jsut confusing. If they had both slipped into "english Korean" it would have been okay, but they only do it for one sentence that Jin is "supposed" to understand? And then go back to subtitles. Color me confused. Vlad Hi Vlad. Spring has a good idea about this scene. Sun spoke in English what she couldn't bring herself to say in Korean, because Jin has to know the only reason she'd learn English was so she could leave him.

Me too. Either muddled and silly writing or muddled thinking on the part of Sun. And Hi, Nicki!!! Hi Matthew. I think Spring's got it right about this scene.

How many bad daddies are we gonna get? Perhaps Claire's new island life is to be forever pregnant. That way, no one else will ever be able to raise the demon spawn baby, and so the not good future prediction thing can't come true. Lola love the way you think Lola....but I bet Charlie would be less pleased.

Dear Michael, It is not generally considered a tenet of good parenting to beat a man to a pulp in front of your impressionable son. Abby Yeah. Michael has a ways to go to be a good daddy, doesn't he? I think Walt subconsciously realizes this. Interesting how Michael beat on Jin in front of Walt like that, and Jin did the same in front of that Secretary's family. Is this a case of the island knowing past transgressions and dishing out justice in the same way?

Oooh! Shanyid kissage!! And she's under Locke's spell too. Which means that Sayid is gonna be in his camp.... "Harley owes me $83,000 dollars" hee!!! So Locke had a BadDaddy too. Everyone does here, seems like. OH FRICK!!!!! WALT did it? I'm so sorry, Locke. Though I still am creeped as all heck by you. Walt, you have your priorities kinda scrwed up. So Jin gonna make peace with Michael.. cool. I'm guessing he does have magical batteries.. Who's singing? Baptism. for Jin.. HEEE! OR maybe not on the magical batteries!!! heh.. And Claire is what, 327 months pregnant now? I think we get Hurley backstory next week. The song is "Delicate" by Damien Rice. might kiss when we are alone When nobody's watching We might take it home We might make out when nobody's there It's not that we're scared It's just that it's delicate So why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've know And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to you Why do you sing with me at all? We might live like never before When there's nothing to give Well how can we ask for more We might make love in some sacred place The look on your face is delicate So why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've know And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to you Why do you sing with me at all? So why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've know And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to you Why do you sing with me at all?
