Copies from my lj: Oh how I loved this! From the parallels - Are you here to kill me Nate? To the con - stealing everything BUT the Davids, depending on Sterling being a bastard, the tunnel BEHIND the sarcophagus, Parkie sniffing Maggie (hee - and thank you PTB for making the ex-wife fun and not a complete and utter bitch), the ded conversation, the apologies, CK's date and everyone's eyes during the bad in bed comment - I could go on and on and on. Superb. Loved it! LOVED IT! Good job TNT. Brilliant casting, excellent writing and just overall a kickass show. Wordy McWord. This show can't return soon enough for me.

What ethnicity *won't* Sophia play? I liked how they brought the ex wife into the mix. I think this is a mildly pleasant show, like mashed potatoes.

Much better than mashed potatoes - chocolate chocolate chip cookies, this one is. I'd be very sad if I missed an episode, it's one of my favorite shows now.

Hmm....it's like a house with all the walls painted white everywhere but the color and decor is all in the accessories. The cons themselves are simply a blank canvas on which the characters can express themselves. I like the characters and the actors. The plots are "eh" (rocks hand back and forth) -- fairly comic bookish and totally implausible. But that's okay. I just rewatched the season ender as Jim had not seen it. I noticed that as Mark Shepard and his second in command were running down all the countries that were after our heroes, walking thru the museum, whoever they mentioned would walk right past them, behind them, in the background. Almost like they were poking fun at the implausibility of it all. Mashed potato storylines, maybe, but with outrageous condiments sprinkled on top.

Just this one job. Ha! ;D
"Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go call a professional killer who tried to murder me and arrange to meet him in an isolated location." Double ha!!

So, Gina Bellman is clearly pregnant (at 43!). I assume they will shoot around it? Having a kid would really not fit into the character/story lines, even if they did have Hutton mildly bonding with the teenager who, by the way, had some charisma.

Got my cable fixed, so I was able to watch the first part of the premiere ep.
The car crash? That was one hell of a cool look. Nice CGI and I really liked how the slo-mo thing matched Nate's freak out at the new job.

Somebody on the writing staff has way, way too much fun writing the reviews of Sophie's acting. ;D

Damn! CK was just tastier than a chocolate banana muffin in this ep! I could eat him up.
All tough fighty and bitterly noble and angst filled and all.

This week's episode was better, even if the basic plot was heavy-handed in the extreme. Bernie Madoff, anyone?
Interesting that our heroes seem to be trading skills - Hardison picked pockets, and Parker punched someone out. I would love to see the teaching sessions that go on when they aren't on a mission.
Also interesting, the bit with Eliot and the abused little boy. Not only did he pick up on it, he's got issues; as who wouldn't, but these are personal. I assume Eliot was also an abused child, and I love that he was able to do something about that boy, first on his own, and later by recruiting the good cop. I'm kind of sad that they bailed out of LA, though - now Chuck is all we in So Cal have left.

Yeah, I loved that Eliot picked up on that right away and that he id something about it. Wasn't it also his idea to check the cars? Also loved that they used fear just like the notMadoff said he did with his clients. I did wonder though if Nate had gotten some kind of brain dump of info like Gunn in AtS! Not that it really looks very much like Massachusetts, from someone who lives there.
