I don't know about anyone else, but I'll be keeping an ear open for references to Archie, Betty, and Veronica...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'll be keeping an ear open for references to Archie, Betty, and Veronica... **snicker** Awwwww! Desmond and Penny baby! Nice snarky fake out with the "island" reference. "Unless he got torched by a flaming arrow . . .". And only on Lost would that be, you know, not a metaphor.

This is a slightly more inhabited than normal island.
So they are having a baby! I didn't expect that.
And it's a bouncing baby Telemachus.
Time hath flown.
Heh! not expecting that Island.
Worry about Daddy Widmore. Do not blame her.
A goodly amount of time has passed since the last zappy-zappy.
And Charlotte is worse. Oh, my poor soon-to-be-dead freckled redhead sociopath..
CLAYMORES! JESUS!!!!
Felictiy. With a machine gun.
Okay, was NOT expecting anyone to know Miles Faraday. Eventually, we may figure what the hell is going on.

Heeee! He's gonna try to talk Miles into being some kind of optimist? Not. Gonna. Happen. Aaaaand right on cue - booms and arrows and guns. "You just couldn't stay away, could you?" So, is she referring to a future or a past him?

Back to Desmond and Penny.
Desmond facing the fact that he's particularly loosely-glued to the timeline....
He is SO not gonna be back by dark.
But he didn't promise.
man we're losing lostaways like flies. From twenty on the beach down to five plus juliet, locke, and Sawyer. Who IS this chick, anyways?
New M1 Garand.
And they're talking in Latin. Great. So the Others used Latin as a day-to-day language.
So the Others came from the U.S. Army. Interesting. and Farraday has no problem whatsoever accepting that Miles speaks with dead people.
Wait, are there two factions amongst the Others? The one that Richard was with is the same one as the ones that Juliet, Locke, and Sawyer have prisoner? And we haven't seen the ones that set the Claymores?

"I got a message memory from the past that just happened, telling me I'm the only one who can save them all" is really not all that crazy considering the rest of the island hijinks, Desmond. Just sayin'. Heh! Where are the rest of their people? Well, they're kicking some of your other people's asses. "'Cuz they're Others." Well, duh! Heeeee! I love that Daniel's only question is "did any of them happen to mention what year it is". Ah, Richard. So pretty. So ageless. So eyelinered. Oooooooooh! Uncomfortable hidden info is popping out right and left. "I assume you came back for your bomb?" Didn't want the girlfriend to know about that, did you?

Well, you were bouncing around in time at the time, Desmond, so it's not really certain what year it was.
So Desmond goes exploring to try to find Faraday's lab, and here it is, all dust-sheeted and with fumigation warnings.
Faraday with Charlotte? In the picture? A little blonde to be her...
So he was sending rat brains back in time. It's a thing about this show that that sounds perfectly reasonable to me, now.
"What girl?" perhaps the girl in the picture..
Meanwhile, on an island long long ago, far far away...
So the other faction is the U.S. military.
Faraday is just being all sorts of large-balled these days, isn't he?
Oh, chripes, the U.S. military was gonna nuke the island in a test? yeeks!!
Well, that's one way to prove your bona fides, if one is a romantic.
"Others 101" hah!
She knows Richard, and they know Richard. And he trusts her, so he gets executed by his comrade.
Oh yeah, Locke is the spiritual leader of the Others now that Ben is gone. Christ on a cracker.

Clever Desmond. Never fall for the old "this person was never here" line and always look for the abandoned lab. Which poor girl? And which, or rather when Daniel is the one who did the bad thing to the poor girl? Now, Daniel Daniel Daniel, how do you know (the this timeline now Daniel) about this hydrogen bomb. Also? Hell of a way for her to first hear that you love her. Juliet is the one to listen to! And, hell, now he just snapped his buddy's neck. Crap. "Because. He's one of my people." Well, hell. I guess he is, isn't he. Crap redux!

And Other Others. And Dharma-ites. And the army. And some stranded scientists. And the left-behind plane-folk. And the Clan of the Teddy Bear. And the bears - can't forget about the bears.

Her manner changed immediately. at hearing his name. Yep, woman in the picture. And Theresa's unstuck in time like Desmond was, once.
Widmore paid for Faraday's research. And paid to take care of Theresa afterwards. Great.
And back on the island..
Silly woman. He said it because he meant it and it was the first thing he thought of.
So Richard is briefing him on what happened with the Americans.
So Felicity is named Ellie. The old man is a better tracker than you are, Jones.
And Locke just keeps bringing the Crazy after the Crazy.
So how will Juliet decide?
Ellie is the reincarnation of Theresa? Or vice-versa?
And she is grumpy and twitchy.
Whee! Bomb!

Mr Whidmore is Daniel's benefactor. Oh, I forgot that Desmond wouldn't know that. And is she sick/dementia-ed or . . . mentally flipping around thru time? Oh, Richard. Forced to kill them. Love how Daniel asks him "by who". Ha! Some "sodding old man". Who can't track them, who doesn't know the island. Ha!! Richard has always been here. "Wanna stay her in crazy-town or help me rescue the geek?" So, she doesn't just "look" like the "someone" he used to know, does she? She is that same person, but back in the '50's instead of when he met her later, right? Or . . . something like that, yes?

The guy who snapped his buddy's neck is id'ed as Jones on his uniform... which was also Jughead's last name.
